Most interestingly, some of the Etruscan cities still exist today. Of course, all these cities were abandoned a long time ago and most of the buildings turned into ruins under the influence of merciless time, but something has survived. Several Etruscan necropolises have also survived; it turns out that the Etruscans, like the Scythians, used tombs in the form of a pyramid-mound for burials. Whole complexes of Etruscan mounds of all sizes have survived to this day. What caused the size difference? Perhaps - the position in society, although not a fact. Less common are single Etruscan burial mounds (photos 3 and 6), which are very, very similar to the Scythian burial grounds (photos 8,9,10). It seems that the Etruscans and Scythians are one people, well, or were in very close family relations
But we have been taught for so many years that the Scythians are barbaric nomads.
