This place is located in the Rostov region. Perhaps this is the most unique place in Russia, which is associated with the secrets of a thousand-year history and mystical events.
The Don River flows there, but few people are aware that this river was previously called Tanais (the ancient Greco-Roman civilization developed here).
And on the Tanais River there was a large ancient center - Tanais! Subsequently, under the daughter of Peter I, Elizovete, Rostov-on-Don appeared.
The small town of Aksai is located nearby. And between it and Rostov-on-Don is the mystical Kobyakovskoe settlement.
Under Aksay itself there is an underground settlement, which the locals are mystically afraid of. And there are good reasons for this.

The keeper of the local museum-fortress (Aksai was once a fortress), historian and ethnographer Vyacheslav Zaporozhtsev can tell a lot of interesting things. For example, about the ghost of a woman in white. He came face to face with her. Or that a medieval underground temple was discovered there at one time, and perhaps there was a tomb there, because the remains of people were also found in an accidental hole.
According to the testimony of local residents, before almost every house had an entrance to the Aksai underground. It was mainly used as a cellar. But when the military came to the city, and it happened in the middle of the last century, all the entrances to the dungeons were tightly walled up by them.
And then the most mystical, terrible and from this even stronger incomprehensible begins
For their needs, the military planned to adapt the Kobyakovsky labyrinths. A soldier was sent to the dungeons to investigate. But he never came back. Five more went to find him. But only three returned.
The next day, by order of the leadership of the military unit, a large-scale search for the missing was organized. Within a few days, every dungeon possible was explored. No one was found. The missing soldiers were secretly considered dead. The inspection was urgently stopped, and the information was classified.
But there were not only disappearances of people. In secret military laboratories, where military equipment was tested for strength with the help of directed explosions, equipment also disappeared! More than a dozen military armored vehicles never returned from the catacombs …
And the military were silent
Well, what could the local residents think, for example, when, after leaked information about the disappearances, events began to occur that made all the residents of Aksai talk about themselves.
One night on the outskirts of Aksai, people felt a short tremor. The next day they were felt by all the townspeople. The shocks were repeated every 15 minutes, second per second.
It was not the shocks themselves that were strange, but the behavior of the military. They suddenly began to quickly brick up all the entrances to the underground catacombs. Not only a huge amount of manpower was spent, but also financial resources. From 56 to 62, practically all entrances to the Kobyakovo settlement were destroyed. More than 3 thousand cubic meters of concrete were spent on this.
All this secrecy of military actions gave rise to many speculations and legends
Found the missing soldiers. Yes, only strange, they say, was that find. The soldier seemed to have been cut across with a sharp laser, the upper parts of the bodies were gone, only the lower ones remained. The radio sets that were hanging on the soldiers were also cut, and so jewelry, further research showed that not a crack from the cuts did not go, the cut was perfectly even.
The entrance where the soldiers died was walled up.
But will this stop the curious? Found another hole. And the local researcher, even his name is known - Oleg Burlakov, also disappeared in the mysterious catacombs. Everything was the same as with the soldiers. The only difference is that both halves were found from the guy: the upper and the lower. But the upper half of the body was a skeleton made of only bones.

The first is that ancient people, or ancient highly developed civilizations (not without reason they see UFOs here) left some high-precision traps inside the catacombs for the curious to block the path of uninvited guests.

One of the groups was with a dog. At some turn, the dog whined sharply and rushed back. And before the noses of the frightened researchers, walls suddenly collapsed, blocking the passage! And then they immediately parted.
Other fans of extreme sports told that right in front of them, almost under their feet, the floor collapsed, they barely had time to rebound. And the floor returned to its original position.
Why not trap secrets?
And the second assumption concerns a mythical animal. According to legends, an underground dragon used to live in these catacombs, to which human sacrifices were made. It had access to underground lakes, and through them to the Don.
They say they saw something similar quite recently. In the basement of a local factory, in a warehouse, a hole formed, which was connected to the catacombs. The watchmen with the dogs tried to stick in there, but from there there was such a deafening roar that the desire disappeared immediately. Someone's huge body slid into the darkness. It is clear that both people and dogs ran quickly and without looking back.
And this passage was immured away from sin.

But, about the tremors, we can immediately say that the military in the dungeons made laboratories, where they conducted experiments on the ability of military equipment to withstand a certain power of a blast wave, comparable to a nuclear one.
These explosions caused tremors in the town. It happened that even glass flew out of the windows of the townspeople.
About the disappearances. Scientists here have long been talking about the geopathogenic zone. Most often, such zones appear at the site of faults in the earth's crust, above underground voids or underground water bodies. In such places, superweak electromagnetic waves emerge from the earth. They affect both technology and people's health.
If this zone has voids under the caves, then karst sinkholes can also occur. And voids, according to some assumptions and studies, there are, as well as underground lakes.
Karst sinkholes, which could form unexpectedly, in connection with powerful explosions in the caves, could be huge, and if the equipment fell into such a sinkhole, then it will no longer be possible to find it. Such holes have also been found in caves.
