A Pennsylvania resident accused of killing a 42-year-old man has claimed responsibility for the murder of at least 22 more people. This 19-year-old Miranda Barbour (Miranda Barbour) said in an interview with the regional edition of The Daily Item. The material was released on Saturday, February 15th.

Barbour claims that at the age of 4 she was sexually abused, and began to kill at the age of 13, when she became a member of a certain Satanist sect. According to her, she committed several dozen murders in California, Texas and North Carolina, but most of all in Alaska. “When I got to 22, I stopped counting,” the girl told the newspaper, adding that she can indicate on the map all the places where those crimes occurred.

The defendant noted that she did not feel any pity for her alleged victims and would kill again if she were free.

As The Daily Item reminds, the murder of 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara took place on November 11, 2013. Barbour met a man on Craigslist and had sex with him for $ 100. When she drove to meet Laferrara, her husband, 22-year-old Elytte Barbour, hid in the back seat of her Honda.

While Barbour was talking to Laferrara, the young man threw a wire around his neck and began to strangle him, and the girl inflicted about 20 stab wounds. The defendant explained that she did not want to stab the man, but he “spoke the wrong words”: when she lied that she was only 16, Laferrara continued to insist on an intimate relationship.

Early reports of the crime indicated that the Barbour couple killed a man to mark three weeks from their wedding. Speaking of other murders, Miranda Barbour emphasized that she only killed bad people who did not deserve the right to live.

Barbour has expressed her willingness to cooperate with the police and the FBI if they deal with the alleged murders. According to her, she agreed to be interviewed and made a confession in order to “live not by lies” and to be honest, and not to attract attention to herself.

Meanwhile, the FBI has confirmed that it has already contacted local law enforcement about the murders allegedly committed by Barbour, Reuters reports. No other details were reported in the department. The police in the city of Sunbury, where the murder took place, in an interview with The Daily Item, expressed serious concern about the girl's confession, but did not report anything specific either.
