Exactly 20 years ago, in the vicinity of Kyshtym, events unfolded worthy at least an episode in the "X-Files": a local pensioner Tamara Prosvirina sheltered a mysterious creature who had come from nowhere, she called Alyoshenka, which, however, soon died, and his body mysteriously disappeared …
In general terms, this story is familiar to every South Ural citizen. But she has little-known details that the famous researcher of anomalous phenomena, the head of the Cosmopoisk association, Vadim Chernobrov, managed to find out. During the jubilee days, the Kosmopiska expedition once again visited Kyshtym, and the UP correspondent took the opportunity to talk with Vadim Alexandrovich.
Warm welcome
- You have been studying the Kyshtym phenomenon from the very beginning, since 1996. What have you managed to find out over these 20 years?
- The most important thing that we can confidently say now is that the history circulated on the Internet and in newspapers is only a small fragment of a longer series of events. And they began on the shore of Lake Anbash, at the very place where we are now.
Exactly 20 years ago, people who were vacationing here witnessed a UFO landing in the forest. They were, of course, very surprised, but did not expect a continuation. However, with the onset of dusk, a bright light began to shine from the forest, and in this light four or five small creatures emerged from the forest. People were very scared, someone called the police. A policeman came from the village of Kaolinovoy (who after those events no longer lives there) and, as they say, out of fear opened fire from a service pistol at these creatures. When everyone, including the policeman and the creatures, fled, there was a short pause. After that, those creatures were seen at nearby dachas, and then, moving along the shore of the lake, they ended up in the village of Kaolinovy. People saw them both singly and together. There are still eyewitnesses: just a couple of hours before you two local historians came,and one of them told how on that day, not far from here, in a channel, boys threw stones and sticks at little men walking among the reeds. There were also the boys themselves, who now, of course, are ashamed of their then behavior. You know the further history: Prosvirin's grandmother picked up one of these creatures in the forest near the well (and not in the cemetery, as they say everywhere). After a while, when Prosvirina was taken to a mental hospital, he died, but not from hunger at all: we found a man who admitted that he sat on his head while drunk. After a while, the body of the dwarf got into the police. They tried to open a criminal case, but pathologists counted 20 external signs that distinguish him from homo sapiens, and refused to do an autopsy, saying that this should be done by the capital's scientists. The body was returned to investigator Vladimir Bendlin,and then scammers got it.
- Is it known where "Aleshenka" is now?

- More recently, an article appeared in a well-known newspaper entitled "Investigator Bendlin sold the corpse of a dwarf." In fact, this is a lie: he did not sell it - he gave it for research to crooks who introduced themselves as scientists. This is a well-known religious sect from the city of Kamensk-Uralsky. Now the sectarians are telling through the newspaper that they allegedly bought the body. This is not their first lie. At one time they assured that aliens took the corpse from them on the 78th kilometer of the Kyshtym-Kamensk-Uralsky highway. We checked: the 78th kilometer does not exist on this highway. Now another version has appeared: they allegedly buried the body. This is also not true, because after the “funeral” they saw this creature. But seeing and taking are two different things. So far, unfortunately, we have no way to pick it up. Nevertheless, we have DNA samples found on a rag,in which the body was wrapped. There was female DNA, probably belonging to Tamara Prosvirina, and unidentified DNA for which no known analogues were found.
- That is, after all, an alien?
- We do not officially call him an alien anywhere, because from a scientific point of view, we do not know this. While we are only saying that the DNA of this creature does not coincide with the human, and not by any percentage, and does not even coincide in length, it is longer than that of a person. Already from this we can conclude that "Alyoshenka" is not a mutant. It is about something fundamentally different. Different versions are put forward. Someone says that this is a gnome, someone - that the descendant of a chud and so on. We check all versions whenever possible.
… And there are only two of them
- What is known about the fate of Aleshenka's comrades?
- In 2002, we received information that somewhere near Kyshtym, a driver accidentally knocked down some stunted creature. We think this is one of those. In general, there were two of them: one, knocked down, lay prone, and the second stood nearby. The driver saw them, but was afraid to get out of the car and drove away. Apparently, his conscience still tormented him, and he turned to us. There is no doubt that he told the truth, or at least part of the truth. Thus, another creature died in 2002 or was seriously injured. If you remember that there were at least four of them, then it turns out that somewhere else there may be a couple more. Since 2002, local residents have met a little man in the forests several times. Before the accident, there were cases when they saw more than one at a time, after - no longer. As the meetings continue, we have hope that we will attack the trail of these creatures. Today people came and told where they were recently seen. I hope we go there and look.
- What would you like to talk to them about if you met them?
- Sitting by the fire, you can fantasize about anything. But in a real situation, you can generally be speechless, as happened with most eyewitnesses. But if we talk in an abstract way, then, probably, all questions would be related to who they are and who we are. After all, it only seems to us that we know ourselves well. This is not actually the case.
- That UFO, on which, presumably, "Alyoshenka" flew in, what did it look like?
- It was a classic disc-shaped UFO, a fairly common type. Last year, we learned that in 1996, in the place where he sat down, traces of a very powerful device, like a laser, were found. A laser capable of burning through tree trunks. We learned about this from the former security personnel of the local nuclear center, now retired. There are only a few lasers of such power in the whole world, and all of them are not transportable. We, of course, guess that it was not "our" laser. Then the question arises: why did they shoot at the trees? Now we are trying to find out where the shooting came from and for what purpose.
In addition, from the sum of the evidence, it turns out that the UFO landed here several times, and one of the landings was in the lake, and the UFO did not fly back out of it. We probed the bottom and found something that looked like a disc-shaped structure with a diameter of four meters. So far we have not been able to find a way to bring it to the surface, but we are trying. It is useless to dive there: the object lies under a layer of silt.
There are still chances
- Why do they even fly to us?
“I don’t know that, but their goal is definitely not to win us over, as shown in American films. The argument here is simple: if a civilization capable of traveling across the Universe wanted to capture us, it would have done it a thousand times already, and we would have been unable to oppose anything to them. On the contrary, so far they themselves are facing aggression from our side. Who threw stones at whom and beat whom with sticks? Who was crushed and run over by a car? I do not blame the people of Kyshtym, the same thing would have happened anywhere else. The locals are still worried about what happened and would like to somehow make amends. For our part, we built a small monument to the Kyshtym creature, it was well received and even excursion groups are brought here.
- Do we still have a chance to see "Alyoshenka"?
- Back in 1996, newspapers wrote that Japanese TV people offered money for the body of this creature. In fact, the idea was mine: I offered the Japanese to buy Alyoshenka for us in exchange for exclusive shooting. The deal was almost complete: the kidnappers were ready to give the body for 40 thousand dollars, the Japanese were fine with that too. But unexpectedly, the local press began to appear in the amount of 200 thousand dollars, which I named in a private conversation during the discussion of the price, the context of which was something like this: “Maybe we should give them 200 thousand? No, too much! " We did not attach any importance to this until a newspaper in the capital came out with the headline "The Japanese offer 200 thousand dollars for information about the Kyshtym dwarf." Naturally, everything fell through. Is a new deal possible? I think yes. There are no crooks who don't like money. If there are those willing to sponsor the deal, then we can still get the body of "Alyoshenka" and study it.
