Ghosts have lived alongside humans throughout human history. They can be seen, heard, tangible, they can talk, in their presence poltergeist phenomena occur. Sometimes ghosts are so believable that they cannot be distinguished from a living person. But where do they come from? What is their nature?
The most common explanation for the nature of ghosts is given by occultists. When a person dies, they believe, his soul, enclosed in an astral shell of thin, invisible matter to us, leaves the mortal remains. For some time the soul is still in our world, dwelling among people. Then she frees herself from the shell, becomes a pure spirit and retires to the "higher heights" (space, parallel world).
And the “clothes” “thrown off” by the soul continues to exist in the form of a certain “zombie”. Moreover, some of them can live long enough, feeding on the psycho-energy of people. Quite a strong psychoenergy is emitted by mediums at spiritualistic sessions, thanks to which these "zombies" are able to get in touch with those present at the sessions. Moreover, people take the shells for the real souls of the dead, while these are not souls, but just their pale shadows.
Proof of this is the answers of these shadows, almost always deceitful and stupid. And they come to the spiritualists solely in order to profit from psychoenergy. It is impossible to believe the predictions of empty shells without a soul: they know nothing about the future. The most that the shadows can communicate is some information about the past.
British occultist Charles Leadbeater, who lived at the beginning of the 20th century (his book The Astral Plane was published in Russia in 1909), argued that some people are able to create their own astral counterparts (that is, in fact, ghosts). These astral counterparts continue to live independent lives, “feeding on” the fear that people emit when they appear. Long before Leadbeater, the mystics of Ancient Greece and India spoke about the fact that human fear is a life-giving force for ghosts. It was thanks to the horror instilled in people, they believed, that disembodied creatures were able to live for tens and even hundreds of years.

This old conjecture seems to be supported by studies by modern scientists trying to explain the origin of ghosts.
Among the various hypotheses, the hypothesis of Professor A. F. Okhatrina, who, developing the concepts of superweak interactions known in physics, created the theory of hypothetical particles - microleptons. Ohatrin believed that it was from them that invisible entities, or ghosts, were formed.
The photoelectronic apparatus he created, capable of recording microlepton radiation and translating them into the optical range, made it possible to look into the ghostly world of other creatures. When someone in the room mentally drew an image of a person, then a microlepton cluster (clot, accumulation) was separated from the aura of the “donor”, imitating the presented image, and the apparatus recorded it. This humanoid cluster, or thought-form, was able to move independently, that is, it had "the impulse of its own independent being."
Experiments on the creation of thought forms were carried out in his laboratory by Professor A. V. Chernetsky, only he recorded them using an electrostatic sensor. Such images, the presence of which was confirmed by the device, could also be mentally destroyed, and the sensor immediately ceased to "notice" them.
All this allows us to assume that it is within man's power to create thought forms of a more complex plan. The mental impulse aimed at the formation of such complex images should be stronger and, it seems, of a slightly different nature. Such impulses, leading to the creation of humanoid figures visible to people, are capable of reproducing psychics and magicians.
Researcher A. David-Neil in the book "Mystics and Magicians of Tibet" talks about her encounters with astral entities, generated by Tibetan lamas. Sometimes, extremely rarely, such entities can be created by ordinary people, but this happens unconsciously, more often in some stressful situations.
RADIATION OF FEAR
In the 2000s, the English photographer Hartwood took pictures of critters (creatures) - clots invisible to people, discovered in the 80s of the XX century by the Italian Boccone. These clots, having the most diverse, often grotesque forms, live, like the clusters of Professor Okhatrin, a completely independent, clearly conscious life. Once in the room where Hartwood was taking pictures, a lamp exploded, greatly frightening those present.
The photographs taken after that revealed clearer contours of the critters, many of them increased in size, changed shape, became brighter. The photographer initially attributed this to the consequences of the lamp explosion, but when he began to arrange explosions on purpose, this effect did not work. In the end, Hartwood realized that the impact on the critters was not the lamp, but the outburst of emotions in those present. In his opinion, at the moment of fright, people emit certain impulses, or radiation, which are capable of influencing invisible creatures.
Hartwood's conjecture is in a curious way consistent with the conclusions of Chernetsky and other researchers who studied and photographed the human aura and fluids emanating from it (which may have a microlepton nature). All enthusiasts are unanimous in the opinion: a person's aura changes depending on his mood, as well as the nature of the radiation emitted by him. Studies say that a person gives off the most powerful aura precisely in moments of great excitement or fear. Was it not these radiations, necessary for the life of ghosts, that the ancient mystics and Leadbeater spoke of?
SCARE TO SURVIVE
This energetic connection between people and ghosts is confirmed by the phenomenon of the household poltergeist. Ghosts accompany him quite often. Sometimes they are fixed by devices: figures appear on the film that are invisible to the naked eye; sound recording equipment picks up voices, murmurs, footsteps, belonging to unknown persons.
The hypothesis that poltergeist is caused by ghosts is now accepted by most researchers, and many believe that these "poltergeist ghosts" are generated by people themselves - participants in unusual events. The role of the "parent" is usually one of the residents of the "bad" apartment or house. Most often it is a child or teenager. As already noted, in order to generate strong thought forms (ghosts, astral entities), a person must enter a special mental state. Perhaps some adolescents enter it spontaneously, generating their own astral counterparts, which become the instigators of the poltergeist.
Astral counterparts are quite energetic, strong spirits, almost always having a humanoid form. It is not excluded that they inherit some characteristic features of their "parents", only coarse and exaggerated. Having arisen, the spirits begin to show signs of violence, demand attention to themselves, for which they demonstrate absolutely incredible abilities. These demonstrations have only one purpose: to scare. Keep participants in poltergeist events in constant fear. Human fear, which has a completely material basis, is what interests these creatures.
The energetic substance released by frightened people is vital for them. They throw refrigerators, set fires and showers in rooms, break bricks from walls. All this takes a lot of energy. Sometimes, in order to extract it from people, they have a direct psychic effect on them. In these cases, as one researcher wrote, "they squeeze fear out of people like water from a sponge."
The well-known expert on anomalous phenomena I. Vinokurov in his book "Horror" tells how he once spent the night in an apartment covered by a poltergeist. The feeling of the strongest unreasonable fear did not leave him all night. At some point, it grew into such panic horror that he could neither move nor even breathe.
Fear is only needed for those ghosts who live for a relatively long time. Most ghosts appear only once, in order to fulfill some kind of mission among the living. Such ghosts, as a rule, do not need additional energy and it is safe to meet with them.
