As it turned out, in 2003 the girl ended up in a neuropsychiatric dispensary, which her family did not know about all these years. She was found in front of a shop window in Krasnoyarsk. The Life Shot Telegram channel writes that she did not respond to questions from sellers, did not remember who she was, and could only give her name - Julia.
It was not possible to establish her identity or find relatives, although guidelines with a photograph of the girl were sent out throughout the country. After the examination, Yulia was sent to a psychiatric dispensary, where she spent 16 years.
At the beginning of 2019, the Krasnoyarsk search organization "Search for Missing Children" began searching for her relatives. “We learned about this girl recently and decided to connect the social network to the search,” explained her leader Oksana Vasilishina in February. “We had a similar case when they could not find relatives for seven years, and after the spread of orientations in social networks, relatives were found within three days.”
On Friday, December 20, a man called the volunteers, claiming that he recognized Yulia as his missing sister. The names of her relatives, mother and father did not contradict the information already available to Search for Missing Children. Relatives said that before her disappearance, Yulia lived in Tomsk. They hope they will be allowed to take her home.
