In the last decade, scientists have increasingly talked about the danger that lurks in space. The main danger of asteroids and comets is that many of them have not yet been discovered by scientists and space bodies can appear suddenly, threatening our planet.

But not only unknown comets and asteroids, but also previously discovered ones, are dangerous for our planet. Among such space bodies and the asteroid Apophis, which, according to the results of research by scientists, is a danger to the Earth. New data from Russian scientists indicate that Apophis poses a huge threat to our planet and human civilization. Despite the small volume of Apophis of 300 meters, in case of falling to the Earth, all living things can die.

Humans have about fifty years to find a way to change the trajectory of an asteroid or find a way to destroy Apophis. For the first time, the asteroid was discovered about 15 years ago and then they estimated the danger of Apophis falling to Earth at 3%, calling the date 2029, but apparently then the forecast was not accurate.

Many world scientists have carried out their own calculations of the consequences of the fall of Apophis on our planet and most of the results are not encouraging. If the giant falls to Earth, the consequences will be dire and most living species will indeed die. The nearest time of the approach of the asteroid with our planet should occur in 10, 17 and 50 years, i.e. within fifty years our planet will be in danger. Scientists should develop technologies to destroy dangerous space bodies.
