There are reasons for everything.
There are several human oddities worth surprising:
The first is the lack of penile bone in males, in stark contrast to the penis of other mammals, for whom it allows immediate copulation. The disappearance of this vital penis bone could jeopardize the very existence of the human race, unless it took place in a long-term development and peaceful environment. The anomaly lies in the fact that a man has a larger penis in a state of erection than any of the living primates. Geneticist Steve Jones speaks of this as a mystery to which "science does not answer", and Jerd Diamond echoes him: "… we have failed completely: science of the 20th century is unable to formulate a convincing theory of penis size … Surprisingly, important functions of the human penis remain undisclosed."
The second oddity is related to the nature of food intake. Most animals swallow food right away, but humans have the luxury of spending as much as six seconds delivering food from the mouth to the stomach. This also suggests a long period of peaceful evolution.
But the biggest oddity is the lack of hairline with weak skin. In a functional sense, a person is completely naked and completely left to the influence of the outside world. And no matter how many hairs we count on his body, looking through a magnifying glass, this state of affairs requires explanation.
Desmond Morris compared Homo sapiens to 4237 other mammalian species, the majority of which are fully or partially covered with fur. Not covered with wool were only those species that lived underground (and, therefore, did not need wool to keep warm), animals that lived in water (for which streamlining of the body was important), and shell species, for example, armadillos (for which wool would clearly be overkill). Morris comments on this:
"The naked monkey [man] stands apart from the thousands of hairy, shaggy, or woolen land mammals with its bare skin … If its hair is gone, there must have been good enough reasons."
The only conclusion that, apparently, can be drawn from this, based on the principle of gradual changes, is that a person, during his development, spent a long time either in water or in a warm climate.

Another unique property of a person that can serve as an answer to the question of the reasons for the loss of hair on the body is his sexuality. And this topic was developed in detail and with gusto by Desmond Morris, who highlighted such exceptional features of human sexual behavior as prolonged caresses before the act, a long period of copulation and orgasm. One of the abnormalities is that the human female is always ready for copulation, but is capable of conceiving only a few days each month. As Gerd Diamond pointed out, this is an evolutionary puzzle that cannot be explained by natural selection:
"The most heated debate around the evolution of human reproduction is why we, against all odds, ultimately came to hidden ovulation, and what is the use of our untimely copulation."
The entire human body seems to be ideally adapted for sexual experiences and for copulation. According to Morris, this manifests itself in the size of the breasts of women, in the special sensitivity of the earlobes and lips, in the position of the vagina, which is conducive to face-to-face copulation. He also notes the abundance of glands in humans that emit odors, the exceptional mobility of the face and the ability to shed abundant tears - all these properties enhance the exceptional arousal of women and men during intercourse.
The totality of all these properties would be impossible to imagine if human beings did not lose their shaggy hair. And thus, it would seem, the mystery of a person's lack of body hair is solved.
In just some 6 million years, these major changes have taken place. Instead of a long sexual evolution, man, apparently, underwent a sudden sexual revolution, in complete contradiction with the laws of Darwinism.
A hundred years ago, the suggestion that humans could be genetically engineered as a hybrid and then cloned would have sounded like pure fantasy. The statement that the biblical god Elohim really resorted to such operations might seem scandalous. In our time, such assumptions are quite acceptable. The question now is different - why?
