In 1911, a strange event happened, an explanation for which has not yet been found. It all started as usual - a group of wealthy tourists set off on a tour of Italy.
Their trip was organized by the Sanetti company. The trip was planned on the Sanetti train, which left Rome. In total there were 3 carriages and 106 people leaving the starting point.
The trip started off great, the train got off on time and on schedule. However, everything changed as soon as the carriages approached the Lombardy tunnel. After the train entered the tunnel, no one ever saw either the train or its passengers. The public was amazed: they began an urgent search for people. Rescuers went through the entire tunnel, but they never found anything.
It soon became clear that the two people, who turned out to be the most agile and successful, were still able to escape and survive. An Italian newspaper interviewed one of the travelers. There he talked about what happened to the train. As soon as the train entered the tunnel, it was engulfed in a strange white fog. Loud sounds were heard, people were seized by panic. Signor Sajino quickly got his bearings and decided to jump out of the carriage - he managed to escape. He also noticed that another person jumped out after him.
After such a shocking interview, not a single travel company dared to navigate their routes through the cursed place. For a long time, the tunnel was simply walled up, and during the Second World War it was blown up and destroyed. Over time, the incident was forgotten, and no one hoped to hear about the tourists again.
Fifteen years after the train went missing, strange entries from 1845 newspapers were found in the archives of an Italian library. They said that 100 Italians arrived in Mexico City, who assured them that they were from Rome. All of them were dressed very strangely, not at all in the fashion of that time. Tourists said that their train left in 1911, that is, more than 25 years later. All Italians were declared mentally unstable and sent to the clinic for treatment. One of the travelers found a snuff-box with the date of 1907.
For a long time, people appeared, telling that they had seen a mysterious train. He was noticed in Europe, the USSR and even India. All eyewitnesses saw a white fog and a composition that suddenly appeared and also suddenly disappeared. Everything coincided with the description of "Sanetti" - the train also had three carriages, and they were written in Latin. It is noteworthy that none of the witnesses saw the driver or passengers on the train - they said that the windows were tightly closed with curtains.
