What book do you think has attracted and continues to attract the maximum attention of the entire scientific world? It is easy to guess that this is the famous Bible. However, despite the fact that the Bible has been sold around the world in millions and, possibly, billions of copies, there are many people who doubt its truth.

It should be noted that there really is a version that over the entire period of its existence the Bible was edited and rewritten a huge number of times. The most striking example is the famous "Bible of Slaves".

Nowadays, one of the copies of this book can be seen in the walls of the Washington Museum of the Bible. It was written at the beginning of the 19th century with only one goal - to preserve the slave system as long as possible, which was very beneficial to the American and English churches.

A similar Bible was circulated by slave owners among the black population of our planet. The goal was not only to teach Africans to read, but also to instill in them the conviction from childhood that slavery is necessary and good.

But even so, this Bible was not written out of the head, but its main version was edited. Let's go back to the classical Bible - how can you tell if it is not a collection of myths?

First, mythology does not have a clear historical structure. And the Bible has such a structure. Moreover, many of her characters are real historical figures, information about which is found not only in the pages of Holy Scripture.

Here are just a few of them:

1) Nebuchadnezzar.

2) Sennacherib.

3) Kir.

4) Herod.

5) Felix.

6) Pontius Pilate.

7) The Queen of Sheba.

In addition, it must be borne in mind that the events described in the Bible take place in real geographic regions:

1) Canaan.

2) Syria.

3) Ancient Egypt.

4) Mesopotamia, etc.

If the Bible were a simple collection of myths, then during the entire existence of archeology there would not have been tens and hundreds of thousands of ancient artifacts confirming the truth of certain biblical events.

There is no need to look far for examples - remember at least the civilization of the ancient Hittites. Initially, scholars found mention of this civilization only in the pages of the Holy Scriptures, which gave them reason to assume that the Hittites were invented.

However, since 1876, a huge number of archaeological discoveries have been made, suggesting that the Hittites actually existed. If you read the Bible, it becomes clear that it was written not just as a religious, but also a historical book.

In addition, confirmation of the truth of biblical events comes from other modern sciences - biology, geology, geography and astronomy. It should also be noted that some of the information from the Bible was also found in written sources of ancient civilizations, for example, among the Sumerians.

They also have information about the Great Flood and many other biblical events. Personally, it seems to me that the Bible really reflects real historical events and tells about real historical characters.

Yes, it is quite possible that throughout its existence this book has been edited and rewritten many times, but it has never lost its historical accuracy.

Surely some of the information in it is not real, but there is not much such information there. What do you think about the truth of biblical events? Write your opinion in the comments.
