Inna Lokteva, a thirty-year-old resident of the Bryansk region, says that as a child, when she was five years old, she was afraid of her grandmother Avdotya Fyodorovna to trembling knees. She was domineering and black-eyed, it seemed that she could kill anyone with one glance.
The reason for Inna's childhood fears was the look of her grandmother, it was cold and sharp, as if piercing through and penetrating into the most secret corners of consciousness. Avdotya Fyodorovna at that time had already been a widow for two decades, and there were rumors in the village that it was the woman's bad look that killed her husband.
