In addition, there are places in the capital of the Black Earth Region where the townspeople recorded the visit of alien beings.

Not so long ago, the news that a local resident noticed a UFO thundered throughout Voronezh. It was not over the center of the city, but on the outskirts - somewhere in the area of Novaya Usman. The object was glowing, and against the background of conversations that recently people are increasingly seeing aliens, the woman believed in the alien nature of what she saw. According to ufologists, our city is attractive for extraterrestrial civilizations, since it has long been one of the capitals of Russian Freemasonry. Members of the secret order have allegedly always maintained contact with alien intelligence.

In general, there are thousands of hypotheses on this score. In addition to talking about UFOs, you can often hear from Voronezh residents how they saw ghosts, some kind of evil spirits, and strange creatures. In a word, if we put all these stories together, it turns out that Voronezh is almost the center of various anomalies.

Our publication would like to focus on several of these urban legends. We present a list of anomalous zones in Voronezh.

Park of the living and the dead / circus

Previously, this place housed the All Saints Church and the Novo-Mitrofanovskoye Cemetery. The church was closed back in 1932, and during the war its building was partially destroyed by shells. In the 50s of the XX century, a sewing factory was first located there, and later - a weight factory. In 1964, the building of the former temple was demolished. As for the cemetery, it was closed just in time for the construction of the circus. In its place, the so-called "Park of the Living and the Dead" was laid out (the official name is the park named after Durov).

Local residents said that they saw terrible things when arranging these city sites. For example, workers in the 70s of the XX century opened graves and crypts in front of children.

- Skeletons were scooped up with a ladle mixed with dust left over from clothes. The men, taking it on their chests, played football with skulls during lunchtime. Many graves were made in the form of crypts. The upper vault in the ground was lined with red bricks. I remember it well, - user zivert shared his memories of the construction of the current circus.

Voronezh residents point out that there are conflicting rumors from animal trainers in the entertainment establishment itself. The Voronezh Circus does not have a very good reputation in the community of these professionals. Say, the animals still feel the energy of the cemetery and behave quite aggressively.

Yubileiny Sports Palace / Chugunka Quarter

Another downtown location is also rather infamous for its past blatant treatment of the graves of the dead. Once upon a time in the area of modern streets of the III International, Karl Marx, Revolution of 1905, there was the Voznesenskoe cemetery. The people called him Chugunkovsky because of the nickname of the merchant-benefactor. Now, by the way, people call the residential quarter Chugunka, which stands on the site of this churchyard.

In the 19th century, it was the largest cemetery in the city. It had several subdivisions: the one where the Lutherans were buried (now there is a TV tower), the place where the military was buried (the modern street of the III International) and the one where the prisoners and the sick were buried (in the area of the modern pre-trial detention center).

However, with the advent of Soviet power, the cemetery was gradually destroyed. And this was expressed in the fact that from the 30s of the last century, construction began right on the graves. The apotheosis was the construction of the Yubileiny Sports Palace. Local residents recall how they saw human remains, bones, and skulls dug by excavator buckets. All this, according to the stories of various mystics and esotericists, could not but affect the aura of the Chugunka quarter.

And the anomalies of this place are expressed in the fact that people in it can often feel spontaneous malaise, headaches. In addition, most of the residents of the surrounding houses belong to the socially disadvantaged strata of the population.

- In the five-story buildings on the III International, some drug addicts and drunks have always lived. Now there are fewer of them. And earlier, as you do not go out into the yard, you see these elements. And it seems like the center of the city, but the aura is such that it attracts all trash here, - says a local resident Yuri Saprykin.

By the way, sometimes Voronezh residents saw real mysticism at Chugunka. So, stories were often heard about the ghosts seen in the area of the railway and the detention center.

Thorns cemetery / Devichok quarter

In one of the oldest places in Voronezh, local residents very often saw evil spirits and heavenly signs. We are talking about the quarter with the popular name Devichok, where the streets of Sacco and Vanzetti, Maxim Gorky, Kommunarov are located. In this area, there is the old Akatov Monastery, as well as the Thorns Cemetery, which appeared in the 18th century. On the streets of this quarter, Voronezh residents very often saw the supernatural.

So, before the Great Patriotic War, as the legends say, the nuns of the Akatov Monastery saw a huge glowing cross in the sky. This went on for several days. The last time the nuns saw the cross was before the death of Joseph Stalin.

In addition, the Ternovoye cemetery was closed in the 30s of the XX century. The gravestones were removed from there and used in construction. It got to the point that they were paving the streets. Be that as it may, but the locals still defended the cemetery. However, the aura that is associated with his former plunder has not gone anywhere.

So, on the path that leads to the Thorny Cemetery, Voronezh residents often saw the shadows of some strange creatures. And quite at the other end of the city, on Velvet Bugor Street, the ghost of a girl named Praskovya was seen. It turned out that in this place lies the gravestone of this person, taken from the Thorny cemetery.

Chernavsky bridge

Very often, many Voronezh residents say that they see a UFO in the area of this structure. In addition, during the five-year period from 1993 to 1998, fishermen witnessed unusual bright flashes over the bridge. They had an inscription in the form of the letters "X" and "O". It was obvious to the fishermen that all this was of some unearthly character.

In general, Voronezh residents consider the Chernavsky Bridge to be very unhappy. In 2004, during construction work, two tragedies occurred at once. So, on January 16, 25-year-old installer Roman Barkov slipped and fell from a great height onto the ice. Death came instantly. And, on July 21 of the same year, a 55-meter span of the old Chernavsky bridge collapsed into the water. He carried seven workers along with him. One of them, 42-year-old builder Jumalgan Aralbaev, never surfaced. The divers took out his body only an hour later.

In a word, the fatal bad luck of the bridge and its ghostly nature in certain circles of Voronezh residents have been entrenched for a long time.

South Park

There, local residents, judging by the global commotion, saw UFOs with their own eyes. First, the Kommuna newspaper wrote about this, and then it was picked up by TASS and the Discovery TV channel. The concept of the "Voronezh phenomenon" emerged, which is known to any ufologist.

So, in 1989, in the current South Park, which was previously called Kozliny, schoolchildren of grades 5 and 7 played football. Suddenly, they allegedly saw a luminous ball descending from the sky. From this unidentified flying object, some creatures emerged.

After that, the students became celebrities. They were questioned by ufologists from Japan, France, Spain, India. One boy said that he saw the letter "Zh" on the alien. And then the children sketched what they saw.

A few years later, the girl, who was present during the alien visit, heard a persistent voice in her head in an incomprehensible language. When she tried to drown him out with her own speech, her voice also gained momentum. She begged and begged to be left behind, and the voice, tormented, disappeared.

Instead of an epilogue

You can tell more about the great variety of Voronezh places that are somehow connected with some anomalies. Almost every local resident has seen something supernatural at least once in his life. However, not each of these people believed after that in the reality of what is beyond the human mind.
