In 1993, a sealed door was found by a telecontrolled robot while inspecting the southern ventilation chamber. Investigations that have begun have shown that a small room is hidden behind it, at the end of which there is another door.
Only in 2010, thanks to the improved Jedi robot, it was possible to get into the first camera. And the scientists managed to see that neat copper hinges were attached to the back of the door, and a red ocher drawing was applied on the floor of the opened room.
Scientists were also surprised by the fact that no one sent research robots into this mine for 9 years, but longitudinal scratches appeared on the walls, and a deep cut formed on the ceiling.

How old is the Great Pyramid in reality
Another unsolved mystery remains the real age of the Pyramids. According to the official version, the construction of the monumental structure was completed in 2540 BC. But a group of scientists criticizes this version, for the reason found on the inventory record stele.
According to which Khufu only ordered to restore the Sphinx, but not to build it. The latest research, which showed that the furrows on the sphinx's body are nothing more than traces of the impact of precipitation, also contradicts the accepted version, and such a level in this region was observed more than 8 thousand years ago.
And it turns out that the real age of the Great Pyramid remains unknown, it is for certain that it is definitely older than the Sphinx.
Thermal riddle of the Cheops Pyramid
In 2016, infrared thermography studies of the pyramid revealed the presence of unexplained voids at the base and at the top of the structure.
After examining the data, it was suggested that there is a hitherto undiscovered passage or rooms in this area.
Numerous inquiries on this matter to the Ministry of Antiquities remained unanswered.
Pyramid building technology
The pyramid construction technology itself is still causing fierce controversy. So the Chemist J. Davidovets claims that the blocks were cast right at the construction site, and this explains the amazing fit of 70 blocks to one another.
But against this version are geologists and paleontologists who argue that the blocks are nothing more than processed pieces of natural sedimentary rocks mined in quarries.
Until now, there is no single hypothesis that would explain all the stages of the construction of the great pyramid.
The curse of the tombs of Tutankhamun
This tomb was discovered in 1922 on November 6 by G. Carter and D. Carnarvon. Exploring the tomb, a tablet was discovered with a written warning:
"Over everyone who dares to disturb the peace of the Pharaoh, death will spread its wings."
But naturally, this warning was not given special importance.
They started talking about the fact that this curse really works only after news appeared that 13 people who took part in the opening of the tomb, and 9 of their closest relatives died under strange circumstances.
And by 1930, of the entire research group, only G. Carter himself survived.
It has been suggested that the cause of such sad events was an unknown poison, which the priests inflicted on the walls and the sarcophagus itself. But this theory has not received any confirmation.
