This story is so incredible that it is still suspected that it is a fake, although news about it has already appeared in the foreign press.
It all started a week ago, when a creepy video appeared on Russian social networks without any explanation. The video showed an emaciated man lying on a bed in the hospital, covered with purulent scabs and with a large open wound on his side.
At the same time, the man was fully conscious and when asked what his name was, he answered “Alexander”. In the comments to this video, many users wrote that the man is most likely either a completely abandoned bum, or a drug addict, or both.
However, on Tuesday, additional information appeared about this man. The EADaily website reported that this man was found in the forests of the Republic of Tuva and that he was lying in a bear den. They found it quite by accident, the hunting dogs smelled it and brought people behind them.
When the hunters saw a human body in the den, they decided that it was a dried-up corpse. They were shocked when they realized that the "dead" was alive.
The man had a broken spine, and later he said that it was done by a bear that attacked him in the forest, and then dragged him into a den, turning him into "live canned food."
With an abundance of food, bears can bury their prey in order to come and dig it up later, and this one apparently used his dwelling.

Alexander spent a whole month in the den and it is completely incomprehensible how he managed to survive without food and water. The man says that he was helped by the fact that he drank his own urine, but perhaps a little rain water got into the den, since he would not last long on urine alone.
However, it is much easier to believe that the man did not eat anything all this month, Alexander turned into a skeleton covered with skin or into a living mummy.
Foreign media write that, according to doctors, Alexander can move his arms a little and open and close his eyes, but otherwise he is completely motionless, and his wounds are partly bedsores from lying down for a long time. It is also reported there that the man gave only his name, surname and how old he is, he either does not remember or did not want to name.
If this whole story is true, then the case of Alexander shows incredible human vitality. It often happened that people lost in the forests died literally in a few days, unable to withstand thirst, hunger and losing hope of salvation. Alexander, on the other hand, spent a month underground and may have heard how the bear that attacked him wanders around and at any moment can come and eat him. And yet he retained his clarity of mind.
Other details of this case are not yet known, about a miraculously surviving man who was rescued from a den until it was reported to any authorities and it is not even known which hospital he is in.
