In 2016, a mysterious round islet was discovered on Google Maps in Argentina near the Parana River. The most intriguing thing about the find was that this island was slowly rotating, as discovered by researchers who decided to study it in reality.
The strange island was immediately called "The Eye". It is a very flat circle with a diameter of 120 meters, surrounded by a small amount of water, which is also in a body of water that has the shape of an almost perfect circle.
In Google Maps, the object can be found at 34 ° 15'07.8'S 58 ° 49'47.4W.
When the researchers decided to find this place in reality, they hardly made their way through the marshy area, densely overgrown with rugged thickets and on the first trip they could not get to the "Eye". They managed to do this only on the second attempt. The squadron was led by Argentinean producer and director Sergio Neuspiller, whom he wanted to shoot a documentary about UFOs near the "Eye".
“We found that the water in this place is very clean and incredibly cold, there is something completely unusual about this area. The bottom was difficult to find, in contrast to the swampy lands surrounding the "Eye". And we do not know what this island is, but it moved in a circle."
The object was added to the mystery by conversations with local residents, who said that bright flashes of light are often seen in the area at night.

After the expedition, the researchers began to collect money for a new trip and recently they finally managed to collect the required amount and they again visited the "Eye".
After this trip, they put forward a version that the "Eye" may in fact be a hidden base of aliens. It is assumed that somewhere below the circle is a base from which UFOs regularly fly out.
"This version may explain some of the supernatural stories associated with the presence of UFOs in the area and other paranormal aspects," - said American engineer Richard Petroni, who took part in the last expedition, in an interview with ufo-spain.com.
This circle may well be a natural formation, such grass circles are often found on lakes. But its almost perfect shape and the observation of strange lights in the area allow many ufologists to cling to the alien version.
