On March 26, 27-year-old Catherine Brewster disappeared in the dense forests of Brazil and the search party found her only 5 days later. Despite the fact that the area was full of poisonous plants and dangerous jaguars, the woman was in perfect order. Katherine's story is told by the Daily Mail.

In an interview with reporters, the woman said that in the jungle she was guided by a "divine voice" and she learned to talk with plants, as well as communicate with the "morphogenetic field." In addition, the "voice" had taught her even earlier how to eat sunlight instead of regular food, and in the forest it came in handy.

For the past few years, Catherine has been living with her parents in the small village of Dom Jose, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. She calls herself a traveler with a philosophy of contact with nature. Three months before she got lost in the jungle, she said, she began to hear a "divine voice." He warned the woman that she should prepare for a "trip to a deserted place."

After this incident, the woman began to severely limit herself in food in order to get used to go without food. According to Katherine, 30 days before going to the forest, she completely sat without food, because with the help of her "voice" she learned to eat sunlight.

Catherine has also had a long interest in morphogenetic field theory. According to her, this incredible concept means that every person has access to everything in the universe, since the field unites everything around, and each person is an inseparable part of the universe.

The theory of the morphogenetic field was put forward by the British parapsychologist, biochemist and plant physiologist Alfred Rupert Sheldrake. Officially, this idea is called pseudoscientific. You can read more about the theory of morphogenetic fields here.

After the woman went hungry for a month, she went for a walk in the jungle and, of her own accord, went so far, guided by the "voice", that she could not find her way back.

When found five days later, she did not look emaciated or haggard, although she was bitten by insects. However, Katherine said that she herself allowed the insects to bite her, as she wanted to feel pain and learn not to suffer from it.

She also said that although she learned to "eat" sunlight, there was not enough of it in the jungle and she had to make some teas from herbs and drink them. At the same time, she talked with plants and learned from them which of them are useful and which are poisonous. Catherine said that she also ate lime, bergamot and jasmine roots in the forest.

The search team found Catherine in a small hut a few miles from her home. The woman greeted them calmly, as if she was not lost. She smiled and invited the men to have tea with her. Then she sat with the rescuers for another hour and talked and drank tea, before they all went to the village together.

Katherine only burst into tears when she met her sister Lizzie and she told her that she was very upset when she disappeared.

“I felt like a part of this wild world, like I was one of the animals. I was acting on instinct. Plants told me which ones to eat, which ones to make tea, and which ones to use to heal wounds. I ate very little, but I was full of energy. More than ever."

According to Katherine, she had only a bottle of water with her before the "journey to a deserted place", besides, the "voice" told her that it was only for one day.

“Then I was informed that it would be for 2 days, and then that for 3 weeks, but I was not afraid of these terms, I knew perfectly well what to do and I would not die there. When people found me, I sat and meditated. I was happy to see them, but I haven’t thought about returning yet. I will definitely try it again."

According to the head of the search party, they found Catherine on the traces of the fruit rind and scattered seeds. They managed to distinguish it from the traces of the monkey's lunch or dinner and followed the remains of the food. Catherine did not make a fire or eat food other than vegetable, as she was a vegetarian.

You can scold Katherine and call her crazy and so on, but her survival in this forest is absolutely amazing. This is the Brazilian jungle, in which even the locals, who have lived here for a long time and know everything about the local plants and animals, do not dare to go far. Katherine is a resident of Great Britain, she has been living here with her family only for the last two years.

During all these five days, the woman was not bitten by poisonous snakes, she did not meet deadly ants and dangerous poisonous spiders. She managed to find food and water in the jungle. Maybe something supernatural really helped her?
