In every city, there are houses in which no one lives. Sometimes, not old, spacious mansions located in good areas have been empty for years and are slowly being destroyed by old age. And quite often, even skeptics admit that having moved to a new house or apartment, they begin to feel bad and uncomfortable there. So these houses are transferred from one owner to another, but no one can live there.

New house. Eyewitness reports Ksenia

Back in 1995, when I was seven years old. My parents bought a big house. It was located far from our apartment, in which we then lived, on the other side of the city. The owner of that house has died. The woman was elderly, one evening she sat down on a bench and died. They buried my grandmother without relatives, for some reason no one came to say goodbye to her.

The house is good, not old at all, but the parents still decided to make repairs. When we moved, I became the happiest child in the world - before that I had never had my own room! But this joy did not last long.

On the very first night, I began to hear the creak of the floor and doors. I listened attentively and did not understand what was happening. But then I attributed all these oddities to new carpentry, and, nevertheless, I was scared. A little after midnight, dishes began to rattle, which were not even in the house; by that time, the parents had not yet transported all the things. And I was no longer just scared, I started to panic. I lay in bed and was afraid to move. I fell asleep only closer to morning. In the morning I told my parents everything, but then they told me to read fewer fairy tales.

Strange creaks and sounds, breaking dishes, I heard the next three nights. And one morning, my parents announced that we were moving back to the apartment. They did not explain their decision to me, but I guessed that they were also disturbed by these strange sounds. Parents still don’t tell me why they decided to sell that house, apparently, they are ashamed to admit that they also believe in “fairy tales”! The house was sold. It was bought as a gift for a wedding for the young, but they also did not move into that house, I don't know the reason, but I guess.

Twenty years have passed. I graduated from college, got married, and moved to another city. A year ago, when I once again came to visit my parents, I accidentally wandered into the area where that house is. A large, solid house, in a not-so-bad neighborhood, is empty. It looks like he doesn't want to let anyone in.
