The Kochno Stone was discovered in Scotland in 1887 by archaeologist James Harvey on a farm near the town of Clydebank. The Kochno stone is a large flat slab measuring 18 by 9 meters, on which hundreds of mysterious symbols in the form of spirals, circles, lines, etc. are carved. The meaning and purpose of these drawings have not been solved yet.

Scientists have determined that the plate is at least 5 thousand years old. This find immediately aroused great interest among scientists and ordinary people, who en masse rushed to gaze at the amazing stone, and crowds of people trampled directly on the stone, destroying the unique petroglyphs. Many still tried to carve their names and messages to humanity in stone. As a result, in 1965 the slab was filled up in order to preserve it for posterity.

Recently, the Kochno stone began to be freed from the ground as part of a new research project. Archaeologists are going to carefully copy all the drawings from the stone and make a 3D copy of it.

By the way, ufologists believe that the plate is a star map that guests from another planet left on Earth.
