1) If we compare today's youth with their grandfathers, a pronounced difference will be revealed. For example, my grandfather was already working at the age of 12, and his brother was already driving a tractor in the field at 14. They were considered adults. Well, if you take, for example, a modern teenager 12-14 years old, you can hardly call him an adult.

This is influenced by many reasons, for example, then the times were different. Children were simply forced to become adults early and, moreover, they wanted it. In Soviet times, people had a so-called "adult image", ie. growing up, old age were considered the goal of a person as a person.

A person prepared for old age and did not take it for granted - he took it as a necessity. Old age was considered quite normal in comparison with the present time. Now old age is, at best, not fashionable. Few of today's young people think about old age - they live in the present day, and they perceive old age as something bad. But at all times, all peoples had a different approach to old age. In all societies where the traditions of their people and their ancestors were respected, the elder was considered a role model, authority. Only an elderly person could lead the tribe, society.

Young people imitated him, learned something, listened, and strove to acquire the same knowledge and skills. But in modern society, under the influence of Western liberalization, the cult of old age has receded into the background. People have no desire to acquire wisdom and knowledge gained over time - people are interested in other things. They do not want to grow up, but want to remain children as much as possible, being in their infantile, juvenile hypostasis. The body certainly ages and undergoes natural signs of change, but the mind does not progress, marking time in one place. If earlier an elderly person was considered a model, now a young person is considered a model.

Endless youth has become the norm of society, both Russian and European as a whole. As Alexander Dugin noted, “people's goal has changed: the main thing now is not to grow up as quickly as possible, but on the contrary - not to grow up as long as possible. Youth becomes fashionable, and old age is expelled from society. People are afraid of becoming adults, they are afraid of old age, because society does not accept it, there is no place for such people in society. As soon as a person grows old, he becomes unnecessary to society, his works, accumulated wisdom become less and less in demand.

2) “Youth is a business project,” as the famous observer Maxim Shevchenko said. One cannot but agree with him. Now, in order not to look like a black sheep, an outcast, a young man must observe certain norms. Listen to certain music, wear certain things, speak a certain language, use certain substances, otherwise he will not have friends and society simply will not accept him. The various subcultures that came to us from our western neighbors certainly did not originate from scratch. When a child is immersed in a subculture, he becomes more controllable and under control, as he does everything that various PR actions tell him to do, such as youth channels, films, etc. A lot of money has been pumped into these PR campaigns. It doesn't matter who you are: a goth or a rapper - you are still part of this mechanism.

Subcultures are, in fact, sects, and the gurus of these sects propagate certain values and outlooks on life to their followers. A young man (and often no longer young) who falls into such a sect simply does not have his own opinion, does not like to check the information that is offered to him, but absorbs everything that respected members of these sects will offer him (as a rule, just older guys, musicians, presenters of youth programs, editors of magazines). Everything that is shown from blue screens (as well as magazines, internet and radio) is very well absorbed by young minds.

Promotional video:

Western (and not only) Josef Goebbels worked well on this. The beginning of this propaganda, I think, should be considered the post-war years. Beatniks began to appear, then hippies, various new age trends, etc. All these movements were accompanied by certain styles of music, clothing, but, in fact, all of them were very united by this collegiality, gathering into crowds, into masses.

A person was offered freedom in a false understanding of its meaning. Freedom is when you can do what you want - in fact, this is how the concept of freedom is dictated by the Western liberal concept. And since you can do what you want, then let us offer you something to do. And the following comes up: "Mom, I want the same pants as that vocalist!" or: "Look at him - he's cool, he drinks and uses drugs!" Also thanks to Ian Dury (no, not Mick Jagger) for the phrase "Sex, drugs and rock and roll."

3) Modern youth is very infantile, children continue to be children for a long time and grow up late. This stems from an overabundance of various entertainment, from the enormous idleness of the population, from the consumer attitude towards everything. A person is happy to fall for these illusory tricks, he is glad to get pleasure from the huge amount of colors that advertisers and sellers offer us. A person is happy, swimming in this ocean of goods and services, in colorful labels and advertised brands, and is ready to work day and night long to be able to plunge headlong into this abyss of consumption again.

Young people are simply not given the opportunity to express themselves through some everyday, everyday actions - everything is done for them by adults, be they parents or school teachers. If earlier, at the age of 14, the boy already possessed basic household skills, now at this age he still cannot do anything. Living conditions forced him to learn these skills, and now they do not give it. It turns out that the higher the living conditions, the more infantile the population becomes. Humanity has built and built, created and created in order to make the conditions as good as possible, and people from this cease to grow up, using all kinds of benefits and help, and do not become independent.

Difficulties make a person more mature. It is the difficulties that temper his personality, making a man out of a boy and a woman out of a girl. In the modern comfortable world, a person does not have to grow up, since there are no difficulties around him. A person remains infantile even in adulthood, his body is aging, and his mind continues to be young. He continues to play games, live in an illusory world, a world of unlimited comfort and greenhouse conditions. A person cannot be independent, because the environment does not allow him to be so. A person tries to avoid difficulties, moves away from them, chooses easier paths. Difficulties form an inner core in a person, they make a person a person.

Let's already begin to make independent decisions, not being afraid to make mistakes and stumble, learning from our mistakes, not being afraid to make bold decisions. Let's grow up so that we can be harder to manage!
