What happens to the body and soul after death? This question has worried people for thousands of years. Each religious teaching interprets this transition in its own way, as well as the ritual of burying the deceased itself - so that the transition itself would pass as easily and quickly as possible for the soul.
Probably for this reason, according to Christian belief, the body must certainly be buried - otherwise the restless human soul remains on Earth and suffers here. That is why the true Christians of Russia are in favor of removing the body of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin from the mausoleum and burying him. This must be done at least as a sign of respect for this person, so that his soul stops suffering on the sinful Earth and goes to the forefather.
But do all religions send the dead to another world through the burial of the body in the ground? Not at all. For example, the community of Parsis who preached Zoroastrianism and lived in India and Bombay leave the dead in the Tower of Silence to be devoured by vultures. There are also some other types of "burial", for example, the same mummification of the bodies of the deceased. A completely different matter is incineration, as a result of which the human body turns into dust. This ashes are sometimes again buried in urns, sometimes sprayed over the ground, but the best way is to throw the ashes into water, for example, into a river, as is done in India. This is considered the easiest and fastest departure to the afterlife, since water itself is a unique substance - it cleans and frees from all filth.
The only thing that is required in this case, says, for example, psychic Eliza Defer, is to burn a person's body no earlier than three days after his death, in order to allow the deceased to accept his new state, say goodbye to relatives and friends, have time to repent and leave the earthly burden with dignity.
Unfortunately, in Russia, cremation is in its infancy, since Orthodoxy has never welcomed and still does not (see about this video) this type of burial. Even in fairly large Russian cities there are no crematoria or they are in a state of inability to serve everyone.
