I am not exaggerating. The rat is an amazingly intelligent animal, moreover, rats have supersensitive abilities! Everyone knows that if ship rats leave the ship, then it is doomed. And they begin to flee from it while still in port, when it would seem that nothing threatens the ship: it is in good order, strong enough, it has an experienced captain and a reliable crew. Perhaps the only ship from which the rats did not have to flee was the Titanic. They simply did not have time to start there!
Rats are capable of not only "looking" beyond the horizon and seeing the future. They have other wonderful abilities as well. On Sakhalin, two white rats, Mishka and Masha, lived in my makeshift house for about a year. So, when I called Masha, only Masha jumped out of the house, and when Mishka was the only one, Masha did not react at all, although "Bear" and "Masha" sound almost indistinguishable. Once I tried to slightly modify their nicknames. Instead of Mishka or Mashka, Mishk, Mashk or Mish, Mash spoke. But they were never deceived. I was in a kind of split state, it seemed to me that they were not leading me, but someone else. And I even saw from the outside how he was being led.
Finally, they took me into the office and then announced that Mikhail Ivanovich Kalinin, by personal order, had replaced my execution by ten years of imprisonment. I fell to the floor."
It turns out that the rat in some incomprehensible way learned that Kostya's death was no longer in danger, and tried to convey this joyful news to him! And not only. She made it clear to the person that she was sad to part with him.
They know how to laugh and cry
Well, now about the main thing. In parallel with us, an intelligent civilization began to develop rapidly on Earth, created by long-tailed creatures that annoyed man for thousands of years. Moreover, the process of evolution was noted by scientists not only in domestic rats, but also in their wild relatives. The researchers drew attention to the fact that the ability of these animals to solve logical problems has increased markedly. They have learned to make unconventional decisions quickly. Only man is capable of this.
