There is a village in Yakutia called Ust-Khatyn. Next to it, about 60 or 70 kilometers away, in the forest, there is a house. According to rumors, "abaakhs" live there - from Yakut it is translated as Uncleanness, Spirit, Ghost. All people who live in this village bypass this house far away.
During the Soviet era, people were taught that there was nothing paranormal. Therefore, the village leadership decided to go to that house and expose everything! Prove to people that there are no ghosts and spirits.
They recruited about ten people, including the first secretary, who did not want to go. He grew up in these places and knew about this house for a long time, but he had to hit the road, as for refusal he could be removed from office.
They went in a truck, took a box of alcohol, for courage, I guess. They took a policeman with a pistol, just in case. And the rest of the men were tough, hoo.
Well, they arrived at that place, unloaded. Having prepared, they enter the hut, there is one large room in it (in the old days it was built like that). Everything is cleaned inside, there is a stove, there is a table, and on it are dishes: spoons, forks, a kettle.
Our heroes first examined the house, all the holes, all the corners, there is nothing, there is no one. What to do, you need to spend the night here for the people to believe. They brought a box of alcohol into the house, started drinking, talking, telling jokes, having fun. Night fell, and we laid our sleeping bags on the floor. Everyone is already asleep, some are snoring, some are drooling.
Only one man lying on the edge cannot sleep. Suddenly he feels someone pulling the blanket off him. The man pulls him back to him, lies, lies, and then suddenly someone tore the blanket off him.
He quickly jumped to his feet, looked around - everyone was asleep. "That's enough, stop it, it's not funny!" he screams, deciding that it is his guys who are indulging.

Everyone woke up, and a commotion began. The lights were on. Calmed down, there is no stranger around.
And suddenly, behind the front door, heavy steps are heard, a loud terrible voice is emitted from there: "Get out of here!" The front door opens, and there a figure two meters tall in a white robe, bending down, enters the hut …
The men woke up in the morning. They open their eyes and see that they are walking along the road, barefoot, half-naked. And they absolutely do not remember how they got here! They were even more frightened: were they walking along the road like zombies?
We came to the village, told everything. And the truck, things and a gun remained in that house. They started asking people to go back there and return everything. Nobody agreed. But then they still found three hunters, each promised a box of alcohol.
They went there in a UAZ, took carbines and cartridges.
We arrived at the place. One started a truck left by the previous company. The two, standing back to back, cautiously walked towards the house.
The senior hunter entered first. I prepared a rifle. Opens the door. Nobody here.
They quickly come in, grab things in their arms, including a pistol, and fly out of the house like a bullet. They get into cars and gas …
