In the United States, three pairs of twins conceived on the same day were born 15 years apart. Their story is told by the New York Post.

Alex and Kurt Johnson - the eldest of all twins - were born 15 years ago, Matthias and James Gardner a year ago, and the youngest - sisters Eliana and Aliza Hefner (Eliana and Aliza Hefner) in total six months ago. Moreover, they were all conceived by the same people in 2002.

Their biological mother, 53-year-old Mary Johnson (Marie Johnson) about 16 years ago underwent in vitro fertilization. With the help of specialists, they managed to obtain many embryos. Two were transplanted to her, and another 12 were frozen for possible further pregnancies.

In 2009, doctors warned Johnson that due to her health problems, she should not give birth anymore. Then she donated embryos to the National Center for Embryonic Donation on the condition that she could see the children when they were born.

All three families keep in touch and exchange photos. They plan to meet together next summer and introduce the children.
