The Tsar Bath is made of granite, the weight of the bowl is about 48 tons, the height is almost 2 meters, the diameter is 5.33 meters, and the depth is 1.52 meters. It is located in St. Petersburg, in Tsarskoye Selo, and now this inexplicable masterpiece of the past is, in fact, abandoned and unnecessary to anyone.

And a little more official history. The “bathtub” was created in 1818, by one person, Samson Sukhanov, which is already difficult to believe, without even citing any facts, but oh well. The master was allegedly brought a piece of granite, weighing 160 tons, after which he began to "create". By the way, on what and how they transported 160 tons of granite is also unknown.

In general, the official version sounds very interesting. As I said above, even without giving any facts and without asking questions, it is difficult to believe that the bathtub was created this way, at least for me.

The issue of transportation interests me most in history and this case is no exception. During the Great Patriotic War, the Germans wanted to take out the bath, but could not because of the technological level of development, in other words, it was almost impossible for the XX century.

However, at the very beginning of the 19th century, they brought from nowhere not a bath (48 tons), but a whole piece of granite, weighing almost 3.5 times more. How this was done is a mystery. But this is just the beginning.

According to history, in the 19th century, of course, there were no perfect technologies, machine tools, special tools and much more. And Samson Sukhanov manually hollowed out the bath, and then also polished it, I note again, he did it alone.

But after a few facts, this official version becomes nothing more than an invention, as is quite likely Samson Sukhanov himself.

Firstly, the walls along the entire diameter are of the same thickness - 45 centimeters. Moreover, this thickness is the minimum possible, in order to withstand the object of water in the "bath". That is, they did everything with pinpoint accuracy and calculations, which is already impossible for primitive tools, rough gouging and the absence of any calculations.

Secondly, the concave and convex fragments of the bath, which, not only for a long time, but in principle, cannot be made without machine tools and special technologies, raise the issue.

And polishing, without it anywhere. In this process, everything is the same as with the concave fragments. One person simply cannot polish a granite bath of this size without special technologies, no matter how much he wants it.

Well, as I said above, Samson Sukhanov himself is quite likely an invented person. I do not state this, since it is impossible to prove it, but this is more than real. Almost nothing is known about this man. Besides the fact that he was a “great master” and did not only a “bath”, but also the columns of St. Isaac's Cathedral, which, by the way, in our time, are also impossible to do.

If he was a “great master,” why is absolutely nothing known about him? Only that he was born into a poor family and how long he lived, although there is no exact year of his death either.

In principle, in the end, we can say that this object, called the "Tsar-bath", in general, perhaps, is not such. Since it is still not known how the water should have been drained from the bathtub, and even get into it, after all, the height is almost 2 meters.

In general, this is one of the objects in Russia, in the official history of which, I don't even know how to believe. There are so many inconsistencies, and even the level of development of that time, based on the official history, simply did not allow doing something like that, especially one "master".
