American tourist Dakota Frandsen from Idaho came to Scotland recently to enjoy her vacation there. During a visit on March 26 to Arquart Castle (Urquhart), which is located on the shores of the famous Loch Ness, a woman saw something dark and massive moving in the water.
According to Dakota, it was at least 40 feet long (12 meters) and she saw part of this creature standing out above the water. His skin was gray, and its structure was "like a hippopotamus." Unfortunately, the woman was unable to photograph the creature, everything happened very quickly.

In addition, near this castle, the mysterious Loch Ness monster, nicknamed Nessie, was seen very often. There is a theory that the creature may be hiding in underground caves right under the castle of Arkarth and that is why it is very difficult to find it, a pier floats into the lake mainly only to hunt for fish.
In addition, according to Gary Campbell, who is the official collector of Nessie's eyewitness accounts, it seemed to Dakota that there was not one creature in the water, but several, but the largest was very close to her, and the rest stayed away and only appeared for a couple of moments. out of the water, and then disappeared.
According to eyewitness accounts, Nessie most often resembles one of the extinct sea lizards. She has a long, thin neck and flippers.
Dakota saw Nessie and her possible cubs from the tour boat she sailed to Arkart Castle. According to Dakota, the creature seemed to deliberately swam up to this boat, it somehow attracted his attention. Before that, it seemed that Nessie was trying to avoid vehicles, she was rarely seen from aboard boats.
The Dakota sighting was Nessie's first sighting in 2018. Last year, there were a record 11 such observations. Prior to that, the number of observations dropped sharply and the press even said that Nessie had died.
