Briton Steve Feltham spent almost a quarter of a century in search of the Loch Ness monster. To make his teenage dream come true, the man left his home, quit his job and broke up with his girlfriend. However, Feltham recently came to the conclusion that no monster actually existed, Fox News reported.

According to the official website of the British, he began tracking down the Loch Ness monster in 1991, and since then hunting the monster has become his main occupation in life. He sold his house in Dorset and moved to Scotland, on the shores of Loch Ness.

Steve Feltham entered the Guinness Book of Records as the longest hunted mythical creature in the world. However, almost 25 years after the start of the hunt, the man came to disappointing conclusions. According to Feltham, no Loch Ness monster actually exists.

“I can't lie. I think I was wrong. What many people have seen most resembles a giant catfish with its characteristic curved back. Most likely it is European catfish. These fish can be up to 5 meters long and weigh 400 kilograms,”Feltham said.

However, according to the Briton, he does not regret the time wasted.

“I am not at all disappointed with how I have spent the last 24 years of my life. I live in my personal utopia on the shores of Loch Ness,”said the man.

Earlier it was reported that the Loch Ness monster was able to be seen from the satellite. According to some reports, it emigrated from Scotland to England.
