Gavrila is the name of a simple Russian guy, a sort of "simpleton" image who unknowingly unleashes the first, as we are told, major world conflict. Remember Ilf and Petrov? What image immediately pops up in your head? At the same time, the Serb kills the Austrian, and the whole world is at war. The principle is a matter of honor, and there is no need to explain it here. Didn't like Serbs - get a bullet. That is, the war started out of principle. But there is one more edge, as for me.
That is, another image of a simple village simpleton appears, dressed in Roman armor, who attacks and tries to overthrow the Russophobe and pay back for the insults inflicted by Christianization and the German dynasty that seized power. And therefore symbolically, in order to finally show his power and authority, this Gavril needs to be pacified, and to show who is the boss in the house.

The wildest coincidences, isn't it?
