However, in the course of this process, there were many oddities that suggested the idea that the two states were preparing not for war with each other, but for a certain threat emanating from external, extraterrestrial forces.

From the very beginning of the space age, the exploration of alien outer space was not due to simple scientific curiosity, but for military purposes. All the merits in this area belong primarily to the military, since it is the dominance in outer space that makes it possible to promptly strike at the enemy, effectively monitor the situation in enemy territory, and repel strikes.

The most amazing development, according to rumors, created in the USSR, was nuclear weapons, but not simple ones, but ones that could be launched into the past.
