The main achievements of the New World belong to the Olmecs: hieroglyphic writing; the cult of the eagle, jaguar, crocodile and snake in art; observing the stars and creating a solar calendar, incorrectly attributed to the Maya. (By the way, the end of the world, "scheduled" by this calendar for December 2012, about which the tabloids around the world are ringing, is the "achievement" of the Olmecs). Olmec children's toys were found, standing on four wheels. What a sensation, it would seem? However, before the landing of the Spanish colonialists at the end of the 15th century, America did not know the wheel. Therefore, who and where threw Olmec toys to the continent is a question.

But the most striking thing is not even that. And helmets that tightly fit each giant head. They are perfectly readable on realistic sculptures. Could it be possible in the "bath" climate of the tropical jungle to hold out in a helmet for more than ten minutes?
No matter how hard you break your head, the most ancient inhabitants of the New World do not pull on the aborigines. Considering all their technical and humanitarian achievements, there is nothing left but to consider the Olmecs as aliens.
