Researchers at the University of Amsterdam have proposed an interesting theory according to which the brain perceives reality in an extremely distorted way, as a result of which people form a completely erroneous idea of the real world.
“It's all about vision. Peripheral vision actually covers a very small area of space, so our visual system, closely connected with the “creative” areas of the brain, “draws” elements that we do not see.
