“My brother and I were best friends and have always been together, although he was four years older than me. When he was ten years old, he was enthusiastically interested in butterflies and was completely absorbed in them.

He even took them out of the caterpillars himself, took care of them, fed them, and then watched them hatch from the cocoon. And he knew everything about butterflies. When they came out of the dolls, he kept them in his room and admired them.

And the butterflies paid him back. They flew towards him, circled beside him, sat on his arms. And I sat next to me, but I did not interest them at all, they were crazy about my brother, but none of them wanted to sit on my arm.

And when we went to different exhibitions of butterflies, they flocked to him there, but they didn't come to me.

When his brother was in his older adolescence, his life was ruined by drugs, he became addicted to drugs, and they eventually killed him. When he was 23 years old, he died of a heart attack.

When he became a drug addict, we practically stopped communicating, his addiction repulsed me and we did not see each other for weeks and very rarely talked, only when he tried to quit for a while. We had not seen each other for several weeks before his death.

And one moment. In our childhood, we felt that we lived in a haunted house, at least sometimes unusual things happened in it. Once we climbed into the attic and there suddenly about ten butterflies of monarchs flocked to my brother. We didn't know where they came from, maybe they got through an open window. We played with them, and the next day they disappeared as suddenly as they appeared.

At some point after this incident, he and I had a conversation about reincarnation, and my brother asked me if I believed that people after death can return in the form of butterflies. It was a casual conversation, but I remembered it clearly after these strange things began.

My brother died at the end of January, and in our area this means a cold winter. But soon I saw an orange butterfly near the house and I immediately thought that it was very strange, because butterflies do not fly in cold weather. And then in February I again noticed a butterfly near our house.

Since then, butterflies seem to follow me wherever I go. They fly to me even where they have never seen butterflies before, and all the people around me consider it very unusual. In our area, in principle, there are not enough butterflies, but I can just go to work in the morning and suddenly a butterfly will fly in and sit right on my head!

Then I go to sunbathe and the butterfly flies in and sits on my leg. It scares me to goosebumps. Once we were sailing on boats on a river in another city and there was a group of 15 of us, and a butterfly flew in and sat only one in my hand.

And this morning I came home from work and a very bright and beautiful butterfly was sitting on the porch of my house. I have never seen this before. And she just sat and did not try to take off, although she did not seem to be wounded.

I tried to feed her with syrup and then put her in a sunny place, but now I am sitting in the house, and she is still sitting there on the porch, several hours later.

I have a feeling that my brother is doing all these things with butterflies. And from this very bright and good thoughts come to me. However, all this also makes me sad, because I remember him over and over again."
