Scientists from the UK have provided for general review a list of threats that can comprehend and destroy at least 10% of the world's population. It provides reasons both dependent on a person and not subject to anyone.
Scientists from the University of Oxford, which is based in the UK, have compiled and presented to the public a list of global threats that can befall all of humanity on Earth. Scientists called their work "Risks of Global Catastrophes", the scientists reported in The Telegraph magazine.
The work provides two categories - those threats that are caused by human activity and in no way related to it. The first list indicates the uprising of robots and artificial intelligence, which have recently been actively developed by scientists, nuclear wars and everything that comes from humans. The second list describes other threats that threaten humanity in the next five years, including volcanic eruptions or the fall of meteorites and large asteroids on our planet.
Scientists have indicated that terrorist groups, for example, the Islamic State *, which is prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation, are capable of creating very dangerous viruses to destroy unwanted states, and the development of artificial intelligence can lead to the creation of robots that perceive humans as a threat.
One of the authors, Sebastian Farquhar, noted that virtually all governments in the world will be unable to protect their citizens from such threats and disasters.
