This story was told the other day in a fresh podcast of the paranormal site "Coast to Coast".
It happened to a resident of Virginia (USA) named Jerry.
“First of all, I want to say that I'm a big skeptic about all these things (paranormal). I am not someone who unconditionally believes in the story of ghosts or night monsters.
And here is the story itself. I love to go fishing, especially at night. I'm from the south (laughs), we call this kind of fishing fishing for the lazy. You put the bait on, then set up the bell and post and wait.
And then one day I went on such a fishing trip to the shore of the lake. At the same time, I never lose my guard, the weapon is always with me. So I arrived, went fishing, then collected everything and turned around to go home. And then this dog crossed the road.
It was about 45 meters from me to her. And then she turned in my direction and stared at me. And I immediately noticed that her eyes did not shine in the night like the eyes of ordinary dogs. Then I began to look closely at her and for a while I and she looked at each other. And the more I looked, the more I realized that something was wrong with this dog.
But then I decided to continue my journey and drove on. The dog was sitting on the road near the ditch. Here I have to say what size it was. I have a mountain hound dog (a dog with a height at the withers of about 50 cm) and this dog was similar in size.
And when I drove very close to this dog, I was able to see her eyes very close and they were unusually large and completely black!

And another oddity, there was not a single patch of fur on her body, she was completely bald. As I say, I'm a skeptic, I don't believe in monsters, but I don't know what it was.

I don't think it's scabies. This usually shows marks, sores and some remaining scraps of fur. Right there the dog's body was completely bald.
