- About 20 steps from the yeti, I suddenly felt that in the clearing, in the air itself, something was wrong. It became quiet. And the two hunting dogs that were running ahead of my goats suddenly backed away and rushed back. If there was a beast ahead, the dogs would rush forward. The dogs rushed past me. And I saw … He - neither beasts nor people can be attributed, something in between, - says Raisa Sudochakova, shivering. - The creature realized that I noticed him, stood up to his full height and disappeared into the tall bushes. And I rushed in the opposite direction.
About her unexpected quick "cross" - across the entire clearing, then - through the beds and holes in the garden and - with a bullet - through the narrow courtyard, to the safe door, 82-year-old woman Raya, snorting like a girl, says with a laugh. But as soon as I "return" her back, to the eerie moment, when her blue eyes had to meet the dark eyes of the yeti, Raya's woman turns pale again:
- No, my daughter, I would not want a second such meeting with Tag ezi (this is the Shor name for the Master of the taiga, the spirit of the taiga or "Bigfoot"). Very scary. Therefore, I am more (Baba Raya closes her far gate and tightly wraps it around, twists the hook with thick wire so that no one can open it) NEVER go to this clearing, behind my garden, and now I do not go out myself, and I do not let goats there.
The Yeti, who returned to Shoria from Gorny Altai, have a hundred-year-old map
The old gray slit house of 82-year-old grandmother Raya in her native village of Ust-Kabyrze stands on the farthest outskirts - behind a sensitive suspension bridge across the river, near the misty Mount Aigan.
Almost a hundred years ago, in 1926, there was a yurt in the same place, which was built by the then newly married Raisa's parents. Mom, Russian, having arrived from afar, married a good Shor guy.
- The parent's yurt stood far from the others, from the village. And here there was a real deaf taiga, such a thick thicket was, - recalls Raya's grandmother. - The thicket went to a narrow stream near the mountain - such was the former Kabyrza river. It was then that the river changed its course, went much farther to the right, became wider when logging began, and the logs were rafted along it … But I remember, I was small, and the local old women-shorki, when we, children, asked them about the world, they said that we - not alone, there are "other people" who are not at all like ordinary people. And they waved towards the taiga. And that the future may not be for us, but for “other people” whom the planet will choose if we exhaust ourselves with wars. Then these stories were incomprehensible to us.

And they started talking around in recent years about the yeti, supposedly they migrated to Shoria from Gorny Altai, scientists who want to find "snow" people often came to our village, and I remembered …
Yes, I thought, these are the “other people” that my grandmothers talked about in my childhood, they may have returned.
And it turns out that their "map" is old, since the taiga "guest" came close to the house of Baba Raya. A long time ago, this is not an extreme yurt, but a house, the Sudochakovs celebrated a housewarming party back in 1963, and the river has long been in another place, and instead of a thicket there is a civilized meadow. Only the taiga mountain-landmark remained in place.

Blowing from the yeti in different directions, Baba Raya (confesses), having caught her breath at home, could not sit alone and ran to her neighbor - Nina Shelomentseva.
- Raisa said that the creature, seeing her, waved its hands. Also - the creature's wool is very large. It was as if the man had been completely dressed in sheepskin. The creature was taller than the fence,”Nina lists. - On the second day I dared to go to that place in the clearing. There, in the bushes, I found a lying place - and indeed, the creature was lying, watching - for goats or people, until Baba Raya accidentally came close to him … I think it was, if not a "Bigfoot", then some kind of hybrid Maybe the scientists in the laboratories brought out, crossed someone with monkeys, and released them. … Recall that the famous cryptozoologist Igor Burtsev, who is looking for a "bigfoot" all over the world, came to Gornaya Shoria, to the Azass cave, which is 18 km from Ust-Kabyrza, for the first time 3 years ago. Because from the Shor hunters in the winter of 2008, signal after signal began to arrive at the administration of the Tashtagol region: there, in the snow at minus 50, they saw a strange huge barefoot footprint, similar to a human, in another place - a silhouette of a yeti flashed in the distance, in the Azass cave they began to find prints fresh traces in wet clay.
“Raya’s grandmother has become the last eyewitness to see a living yeti in Shoria,” says Valery Topakov, a Kabyrzin district police officer and hunter with great experience. - I myself personally found giant barefoot footprints in the Azasskaya cave, similar to human ones, but size 60, some of the footprints were clearly male yeti - the fingers protruded strongly forward, and recently they found a footprint with neat fingers, like the wife of a yeti.

According to Valery Topakov, if the footprints really belong to the yeti and his wife, it means that only one family “moved” to us, to the taiga in the south of Kuzbass. After all, the yeti, like bears, and also like hunters - everyone has their own favorite and huge territory, where they do not let anyone. And since the "snow" family has moved to us, they probably have a child. Raya's grandmother was convinced of this.
