A new study of the UFO phenomenon has shown that UFOs have become much more difficult to detect, although the number of people watching the sky or carrying phones with good cameras, DVRs in cars is only increasing.

It seems that UFOs are adapting to changes and actively using camouflage systems hiding from terrestrial observers. In those videos and photographs that eyewitnesses of the UFO appearance manage to make, these objects turn out to be very blurred.

Of course, we are not talking about fake videos where UFOs are visible in all details, but about real observations, real Unidentified Flying Objects. The researchers note that the analysis showed that the waves of UFO sightings are cyclical, there are bursts of sightings or downturns, but recently the number of confirmed UFO sightings has a constant downward trend.

Experts consider this circumstance strange, since the decrease in UFO sightings does not mean at all that there are fewer of them, but they more often began to hide from people.

At the International UFO Congress, researcher Sherrill Costa presented data that currently about 8,000 people are observing UFOs in the sky over the United States, which is only 41% of the number of UFO sightings over the past 3 years.

UFO sightings go in cycles, from a gradual rise to a peak and a gradual decline, and then rise again. Between 2012 and 2014, the United States had a peak in UFO sightings of 13,500 of the annual UFO sightings.

However, in 2015, the number of UFO sightings fell by 11% to 11,975, and in 2016 there was an even sharper drop - by 21% to 10,602. Researchers say that the reasons for such a sharp decline are not fully understood, but it seems that UFOs began to control their movements more closely and hide from outside observers.

The last peak of UFO sightings was observed from 2006 to 2008, then a decline began, which lasted until 2011, when the increase in UFO sightings in the Earth's sky began, since the end of 2017, the number of UFO sightings began to fall and there is no visible increase in these observations yet.

Researchers do not know the answer to the question with what these cycles of appearance, or rather the observation of UFOs, are connected, while it remains a mystery, like the UFO phenomenon itself.
