Many of you remember that at the beginning of the last century, in the spelling of words, the sign "b" was actively used, aka "EP", which was written at the end of words, denoting belonging to the masculine gender, and stopped using after the reform of the Russian language in 1917-1918 … First, an interesting coincidence: when the Bolsheviks came to power, they immediately staged a reform of the language … a kind of "intelligentsia" that decided to bring their vision and a fresh wind of change into the "stagnant" spelling of "great and mighty" …

A. Lunacharsky (left) and M. Gorky
A. Lunacharsky (left) and M. Gorky

A. Lunacharsky (left) and M. Gorky.

That is, a certain A. V. Lunacharsky decided to us, dark and worthless Russians, to create a great blessing and "simplify the spelling" of the Russian language.., such anxious concern, of course, cannot but cause feelings of reciprocal warm gratitude, but I would like to know more about this worthy hero of his time …

In search of information on this reformer, I came across an interesting article from an admirer of Lunacharsky's deeds, the article is really interesting, you can read it in full here, and I will only give a small commentary by the author of this article.

I am not an anti-Semite, and therefore I will summarize that the nationality of Lunacharsky "is not known to me" and is not particularly important. Although, on the Internet, the names of Bailikh and Mandelstam are actively attributed to him (according to the English journalist Viktor Marsden), but I cannot confirm or deny this, in Wikipedia it says about the origin of the People's Commissar of Education:

In any case, I repeat - the nationality of this reformer is not important, his deeds are important, whether he is even three times Russian to the last gene - this would not give the right to interfere with the spelling that has been established for centuries. Well, if, nevertheless, and in fact, Anatoly considered himself to be a different nation, then he apparently did not know the language that he had reformed so godlessly, otherwise he would have known wise Russian proverbs, among which, for example, there is such: "Do not go to someone else's monastery with your charter …"

Well, I also wanted to first cite the words from the diary of Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky, where he describes Lunacharsky's story, which was published by Yevgeny Nikitin, in his book "How different they are … Kornei, Nikolai, Lydia Chukovsky", but they are so vile and cruel that on reflection, I removed them for ethical reasons … Not every mentally healthy person is able to calmly read these lines. But the book itself, for general development, I recommend.

But back to our topic. So what was the essence of the reform?

Promotional video:

The reform is interesting; as a result, many words have lost their original meaning. For example, in the title of the novel by L. N. Tolstoy "War and Peace", the word Peace should be written as Peace, which is not a “truce, peace time”, as this name is understood now, but Peace with the meaning - “the planet, the universe - everything that illuminates the sun …”, That is, the meaning that the author puts in is lost even in the title … And a person who studied according to the new spelling rules, reading books written according to the old rules, could no longer fully understand the essence originally laid down by the authors. Most likely, this was the purpose of the reform …

But in this article I want to talk directly about the letter b called "EP".

Clear? "The meaning is unknown to them" … Well, yes, now few people know that … The official reason why this letter was removed is this - it was used to separate words, it became unnecessary, it takes a lot of paint in printing houses - it is not needed … During the reform, many printing houses still continued to print "b" at the end of words, as a result of which, this letter was forcibly removed from all printing houses, so they had to replace the hard sign where necessary using an apostrophe (`) For example" PENDE ". Moreover, some decided that the reform mandated the use of the apostrophe exclusively, although this was not the case. But if the point is only that the letter has outlived itself, then why confiscate all the books written according to the old rules? And there is a lot of evidence of this, and by the way, it was a very tricky move, after all, the books written before the revolution were easy to identify, and since they were not written during the Soviet era, then their content is highly questionable and possibly even destructive for the minds of the newly minted citizens of the socialist state …

But back to our wonderful letter "ER", those of you who read my last article "And the word" Sir "turns out to be Russian..", already know that this letter means "YAR" - the Sun. Vowel sounds are very easily transformed and "YA" flows into "YE", but the meaning has not gone anywhere - Kommersant is YAR (EP) is a sign of the sun. An interesting version of the name in Bulgarian - "ER GOLYAM", which official linguistics translates as "BIG ER", but in fact it means in Old Russian: "THE SUN LEADS TO STRONG HEAT", but this is literally, but if you simplify a little, we get: "THE SUN IS HOT" The very spelling of the letter as b could well come from the truncated Kolovrat swastika, which was so popular in Russia that even the USSR initially took it as its symbol … but then, at Trotsky's initiative, the symbolism was changed on everything already familiar hammer and sickle. But all the same, I cannot say for sure the involvement of Kommersant in the swastika - this is only a possible variant of the appearance of the spelling form. But there is another version - most likely more correct: in the Glagolitic alphabet the letter "P" looks like "L", and the word "YAR" is derived from - "I RA", where the root "RA" is of paramount importance and therefore could well spell the letter "Kommersant" in Cyrillic comes from the spelling "R" (rtsy, ra-tse) in Glagolitic. The style in the glagolitic directly of the letter "b", as well as all other letters, is shown in the picture belowwhere the root "RA" is of paramount importance and therefore the spelling of the letter "b" in the Cyrillic alphabet could well have come from the spelling "R" (rtsy, ra-tse) in the glagolitic alphabet. The very same Glagolitic is a variant of the ancient Russian knotted writing, which was performed on threads woven into the designated designations. Therefore, the shape of the letters of the Glagolitic alphabet is quite understandable and recognizable … By the way, the Arabic "script", like many other scripts of the world, came from the Russian nodular writing, but I will tell about this in other articles.

And yet - what is so dangerous about the letter b - Yarila - Solnyshka? And the fact is that there are prerequisites to believe that in the 19th century Christianity, in the understanding that we know it now, was not present in Russia to the extent and scale that they describe to us, and the heritage of Vedism and the veneration of the sun and divine light “RA”Lived and prospered among the people, temples stood - but they were still Vedic. The roots of the Russian language "RA" and "YAR" are diligently erased from our memory and the field of our perception, although they are present in a huge number of words. Linguists pretend that they "do not exist", and those who stutter about these roots are either hushed up or ridiculed, making them a jester and a clown, as was the case, for example, with M. Zadornov … And who benefits from it - I suggest you draw the conclusions yourself.

There are a lot of interesting things ahead, our language is the greatest power of truth … I recommend reading all my articles in order, I write them so that in the end the reader will have a single picture of understanding history, language and world order.
