Rami Rizk is a 29-year-old photographer from Jezine, Lebanon. Rizk lovingly shows off the beauties of his country in the 2018 photo series "Lebanon That Has Never Been Seen Before."
In this series, he captured the stunning landscapes of Lebanon, full of green trees, mountains and valleys, cities linked between land and sea, and outstanding architecture.
In 2010, the war broke out in Syria. Since Lebanon shares a border with Syria, it did not take long before unrest and war backlash reached Lebanon itself.
In early 2010, the government reported that Lebanon was visited by about 2 million tourists annually, and as soon as the war broke out, their number dropped by 38%. The neighboring war was nothing more than devastating to the Lebanese economy.
