A group of researchers at Harvard University, led by Juan Henriquez, figured out what people will look like after 100 years.
According to Enriquez, people can hardly live to see natural evolution, since today there are too many threats to their lives. The scientist emphasized that earthlings can die out at any moment, from a meteorite, a deadly strain of a disease, or some other disaster. Mass extinctions in the history of mankind have been recorded at least 6 times in history, therefore, according to Enriquez, one should not assume that such a fate will pass by the inhabitants of the 21st century.
However, there is such a wonderful aspect in human life that can change people - this is science. And although today it is largely aimed at treating diseases and genetic mutations, its parallel branch also studies the improvement of humans. For example, gene programming technology, the improvement of individual organs, super-vision and super-hearing, and many other things through which people can turn into supermen.
In this regard, Juan Henriquez believes that in 100 years people will be improved. For example, those who are sent to Mars will surely adapt to life there over time - they will change the structure of the respiratory system to make it easier to breathe in a spacesuit, the spine will be deformed due to the nuances of attraction, and vision will change. It is also possible that in the future all earthlings will also move to Mars, where the formation of a new branch of humanity will begin.
