In his last article about Great Tartary (Eurasian Empire) - Mongul and Tartarus. Failed to "tartarars"., I promised to tell in more detail about how the cataclysm took place that destroyed the greatest (of the known) world empire.

In this article, I will try to briefly and clearly (but very simplified) talk about the SCIENTIFIC theory of a monstrous natural cataclysm that affected the whole world. Siberia and the Far East became the epicenter of the disaster.

The officialdom is silent

In world history there are numerous descriptions of phenomena that are not explained by official science in any way (in the sense of ALL).

Greek and Roman scientists and philosophers (Herodotus of Heracles, Pomponius Mela, Sophocles, Euripides, Seneca and others) in their writings write about the change in the direction of the sun's movement: “I mean the changes in the rising and setting of the sun and other celestial bodies, when in ancient times they usually entered where they are now rising, and ascended where they are now entering … At certain times the universe has its real circulation, and at other times it rotates in the opposite direction. Of all the other changes that take place in heaven, this reverse movement is the most significant and complete … At that time, the destruction of all animals took place, and only a few of the people remained alive - Plato.

This is directly mentioned by the Egyptian papyri, the Koran, the Syrian, Chinese, Russian and American (Indian) chronicles.

The seasoned archaeologists are also surprised: in the stomachs (and sometimes in the mouth!) Of mammoths they find undigested (not chewed) tropical grass. That is, mammoths grazed where tropical (fresh) grass grew and instantly froze - why? Frozen mammoths are found only in Eastern Siberia and are not found in the same latitude territory of Canada. In Canada, Mexico and the United States, only skeletons and tusks are found.

On the New Siberian Islands (now one of the coldest places in the world), the Russian polar explorer Baron Eduard Vasilyevich von Toll discovered in the permafrost the remains of a “saber-toothed tiger and a fruit tree 27 meters high. Green leaves and fruits were still kept on the branches of the tree …”. Didn't even have time to fly around as they froze?

In the permafrost zone of Eastern Siberia and the Far East, the permafrost surface soil contains residual salinity in chemical composition close to the sea. It is the permafrost that is important, since in ordinary soil everything will be washed out in the first hundred years. This salinity is evidence of the presence of sea waters on the mainland at a depth of up to a thousand kilometers in the relatively recent past.

The forests of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East are overwhelmingly young, 150-200 years old (read more - Try to explain. Why is there a young forest throughout Russia?). Let me remind you that for a thousand years in an ordinary forest, a fertile layer of about 1 meter should form, i.e. millimeter per year. But everywhere in Siberia there is a very thin fertile layer, about 20-30 cm. And taking into account the leaves / cones / needles, the layer should be much larger …

All this and much more - there are no intelligible explanations!

Alfred Wegener's theories

There are three scientific theories of Alfred Wegener that are closely related to each other. Wegener's first theory is called "The theory of continental drift" - Wegener substantiated the mechanism of movement of the continents by the action of centrifugal forces as a result of the rotation of the Earth and the mutual attraction of the Earth, the Sun and the Moon. The second theory - "On the movement of the lithospheric plates of the earth's crust" - the continents move along the mantle, being passively soldered into the lithospheric plates.

His first two theories were recognized after his death, when they received new data proving the mechanism of drift and the formation of rock massifs during the collision of continental plates. But there was also a third - "The theory of earthly catastrophes".

The idea of the third theory by Alfred Wegener is simple: the scientist proposed a theory about the rapid, almost instantaneous (hours!) Movement of lithospheric plates. Today, for some reason, this is called the change of the planet's poles. But according to Wegener, it is not the position of the poles that changes, but the next continent "drives up" under the pole. If Antarctica moves from its place, then its ice, although it will move from its place, is not far from the ocean. But the ice of the Arctic, floating in the water, "splash out" on land. Rather, the land simply crawls under them. So much for the glaciation, for which they cannot find an explanation. Wegener developed the theory of continental drift, not only to explain the distribution of fossil specimens, but also to decipher ice ages.

And yet they are moving

In our time, even the most stubborn of the scientific fraternity do not argue that the magnetic and geographic poles of the Earth are moving. The whole question is how often it happens and what leads to it.

In 1953, the American scientist Charles Hapgood wrote the book "The Earth's Changeable Crust", in which he outlined the theory of instantaneous crustal shear. Explanation of the shift: "the entire lithosphere of the planet can sometimes shift along the surface of the softer inner layers, just as the whole orange peel moves along the surface of the pulp when it loses strong contact with it."

Albert Einstein even wrote a preface to it and made calculations, according to which an initial external impulse is needed to shift the earth's crust with polar ice.

Methane hydrates

Methane hydrate is a supramolecular compound of methane with water, the most widespread gas hydrate in nature. Outwardly, methane hydrate looks like compressed snow. Methane hydrates encircle all continents of the Earth along the perimeter at the border of seas and oceans, i.e. around the perimeter of solid ground. The largest continental shelf of the planet is the Russian shelf of Siberia, where “methane ice” occurs at shallow depths, most often several tens of meters.

But there are also methane deposits on land. Our Siberian-Far Eastern permafrost stores huge reserves of methane. The ice of the gigantic frozen territories of Western Siberia and the Far East traps this gas.

So, along the coast of all seas and in the permafrost of our planet, natural explosives are stored - methane hydrates, which fill colossal areas of the ocean floor and tundra. While they are in a "frozen" state. However, as the climate warms, their release from the "ice captivity" begins.

For methane hydrate stability, a temperature of about -80 ° C is required. Polar explorers / sailors / scientists have many times observed the emergence of bubbles of "thawed" methane on the water surface. In some places, small bubbles came to the surface almost continuously. Large bubbles were also observed. They burst out with a characteristic pop and caused quite high waves.

Enough theory - it's time to move on to the disaster itself, but that will be in the next part.
