In France, these children are called "Teflon", in the British Isles - "children of the millennium", in Russia they are "children of the light". But most often they are called "indigo children".

What are they?

According to Doctor of Psychology Doreen Verche (USA), they are easy to distinguish from their peers. These are children with a creative nature, high intelligence, decisive and persistent character. They often see a more rational way to do something, but others perceive it as breaking the rules. Previous methods of upbringing do not work for such children - they do not react at all to strict educational measures, punishment, threats or humiliation.

Indigo children have a belief system that cannot be changed by outside influence. An attempt to somehow influence the views of such a child leads either to aggression or to withdrawal in oneself. Unlike ordinary children, they do not have absolute authorities, they do not consider it necessary to explain their actions, they recognize freedom of choice. However, they are able to make the right decisions, relying only on intuition.

In addition, Indigo children:

- often have an affection for plants or animals, they are simply in love with nature;

- have the highest degree of empathy;

- are in dire need of the unconditional love of loved ones, require a lot of attention to themselves, looking for a real, strong and sincere friendship;

- are altruistic, eager to help the world in some great cause;

- give the impression of uncommunicative, if they are not in the company of their own kind;

- prone to bad habits;

- feel older than their years (as if he is not 13, but already 43);

- are distinguished by high self-esteem, very self-confident, independent and proud, even in humiliating situations;

- in adolescence, they are prone to depressive conditions, up to suicide;

- are capable of cruel acts if they stumble upon an insurmountable wall of incomprehension and indifference;

- deeply spiritual, although they do not accept religious dogmas;

- hate when they are forced to do something simply because "it is necessary" or "everyone does it."

"Other" - special conditions

In many developed countries of the world, indigo children are dealt with at the state level. And this is not a waste of time and effort. Perhaps it is precisely this “other” generation that will save our civilization from the growing crisis in the future.

Where do they come from? Whatever the aura of our children, they really are not at all like us. The sprouts of the future appear before our eyes, for which it is necessary to create a fertile soil. Earlier, the offspring strictly followed in the footsteps of their parents: the son of a craftsman became a craftsman, the son of a peasant became a peasant, and the son of a lawyer became a lawyer. However, the children of modern times are not much like their ancestors.

Humanity is moving forward, and each subsequent generation turns out to be more developed, it has greater desires and aspirations, greater egoism than its predecessors. Today, many professionals - from kindergarten educators to university professors - can hardly provide children with the information they need to settle in life. This is the natural law of human development, nature itself pushes us forward with each generation, increasing our egoism, improving our abilities.

How to educate them?

The essence of raising a child is not to "pump" his brains with knowledge, but to connect him with the process called life, to help find answers to the questions: what is the source of life? why does everything happen the way it does? what are we living for? where is the possibility of man's free choice and what does this higher power of nature require of us?

The most important element of raising a child is the example of adults. Only if we teach our children the laws according to which nature operates, explain where it leads us and what purpose it pursues, we will be able to give them practical tools that will allow them to settle in the reality in which we live.

Therefore, today, when within the walls of the school they talk about altruistic values - philanthropy, mutual support, and outside the school, the child sees the opposite - the domination of personal, selfish interests over the general ones, the child has an internal conflict. We can read about the consequences of this conflict in statistical reports on crime and depression among schoolchildren. Thus, we see that education is a two-way process. We can raise children if we raise ourselves. This is possible if what we pass on to children is equally important to us. That is, it must be enduring, eternal values.

How and what to teach them?

The learning process for a little person is akin to an extraordinary adventure and travel. One should not think that abstract concepts that are not perceived by an adult are the same for a child. We see how well our children do with such "ingenious" devices as computers and mobile phones, unlike their parents. The main thing in training is that a person builds up a correct, true perception of reality.

Our children differ from you and me in that they are already ready to perceive our material world as the world of effects, the world of causes. Thus, a modern child sees and feels the entire universe as a whole picture. And this, of course, affects his attitude not only to his teachers, to his closest circle, but in general to the whole world. Only by changing his internal properties in the similarity to the properties of nature, a person can be in balance with it, and therefore, in safety and perfection. Moreover, in the process of his development, a child is obliged to gain knowledge about the nature of the universe, because only in this way can he fill his inner aspirations.

Failure to fulfill this natural need leads to an internal crisis and, as a consequence, to neglect of teachers, senseless cruelty and the use of another kind of "filler" - drugs. Therefore, learning the laws of nature must begin from a very early age, since the person learned in childhood carries it through his whole life. The acquired knowledge makes him an integral part of nature, and therefore, to ensure his own safety, he no longer needs to learn karate and judo techniques. If a person has not received this knowledge, then nature itself rises against him, and not “evil enemies” and fate. By educating the younger generation on these principles, we will give them the best that only parents can give to their children.
