Has it ever happened in your life that you have a dream and after a while it can be fulfilled with precision to the smallest detail? Such dreams can be called prophetic or visionary, and there are many stories about such dreams that great people dreamed. So what is this phenomenon and what are the historical reports on this topic?

Surprisingly, Robert Lewis wrote his novel "The Strange Story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" based on the plot he saw in one of his dreams. I note that some great authors have repeatedly admitted that it was not they who invented their stories themselves, but as if someone had suggested the plot of future works, but they simply transferred their dreams to paper.

Mikhail Lermontov is a famous Russian writer and some attribute to him the gift of foresight. The fact is that in one of his poems, he describes the circumstances of his death in a few weeks. The poem is called "Dream", in which there is a girl from visions, anticipating the imminent death of the writer. Coincidence?

A strange story happened to Mark Twain, who in a dream dreamed of his brother Henry, who was in a coffin with a bouquet of flowers. Surprisingly, his brother did not become in the same year, and on his chest lay a bouquet of flowers that, according to Twain's stories, were in his dream.

Isn't that strange?
