NASA employees talked about three planets that humanity will be able to move to in the future.

We are talking about Pluto, Ceres and Mars. As the experts noted, even now these space objects are regarded as a "backup option" for our civilization.

The researchers explained that water ice was found on Pluto. Therefore, the colonizers of this planet will be able to easily extract water from it. According to scientists, the presence of water ice indicates that there is hydrogen on this planet, which means that oxygen can be easily obtained there. But people will have to take care of technology that will effectively heat rooms and store heat, as the temperature on Pluto drops to -240 degrees Celsius. By the time this planet is colonized, scientists are sure that humanity will be able to solve this problem.

According to NASA, Mars can also be populated by humans. The study of this planet has shown that there are many resources necessary for human life. And although there is no atmosphere necessary to support life, and the temperature also drops by several tens of degrees below zero, it is possible to adapt Mars for life, scientists are sure.

As for Ceres, located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, the researchers note that it is also suitable for colonization. This dwarf planet has water reserves. It is also closer to Earth than Pluto. Scientists even suggest that life could have existed there millions of years ago.
