Reddit user "VikingBlade" reports.

“My husband and I didn't believe in ghosts until we moved to a new home. Since then, my two-year-old son has been constantly at the center of unusual events.

We tried to explain these incidents by natural causes, but we could not. There was no alternative answer other than that it was a ghost.

We bought this house about a year ago and completely renovated it. The house is not old, it is about 30-40 years old, and it has no dark criminal history, at least we have not found anything like it.

When we moved to live there after the renovation, my son was one and a half years old and he was just trying to start talking. And so we began to notice more and more such a strange thing that he was trying to talk to someone whom we had not seen.

One morning we found that he was walking in a circle in his room, as if around some object, looking at him and trying to talk to him. It was very strange, but even then we did not take it into account, after all, this is a child, and children can do all sorts of things.

But every month, as his vocabulary was replenished, it became clear that our son was distracted and even annoyed by something. It got to the point that my mother, who is very superstitious, began to say that there was a ghost in the house and that the child needed to be protected from him. She told her son that the ghost needs to fight back and tell him "Get away from me" the next time he comes.

My mother's words then made me angry and I asked her not to say anything like that to my boy again, because I considered it complete nonsense. Until one night she herself woke up at night from the fact that my son was talking in his sleep and was very irritated. He said to someone, “Go away. Go away."

It didn't look particularly intimidating and I ended up thinking that maybe he was just having a bad dream. But after a few months, things got worse. The son started waking up screaming and then running around the house shouting "Ghost, where are you?" And again we tried to reduce everything to the usual childish imagination.

But recently my husband left for a few days on business, and after a couple of days the son became calmer. I decided that the "ghost" or whoever was there was gone and would not bother us anymore. But the next day, an even more frightening event happened.

I left my smartphone in my room and went downstairs on business. When I returned, I saw my son in my room and he was holding a smartphone in his hands. The smartphone was turned on, although I turned it off, I remember that well.

I took my son's smartphone, and then took my son by the hand and we began to leave my room. And then the son turned around, waved his hand to someone and said, “Bye, ghost. See you later . And then I looked at the smartphone screen and saw this scary message with a house icon there.

It said “I don’t want him back to my house”. Perhaps we are talking about a husband.

My son is only 2 years old. Even if he loves to play with the phone from infancy, he would in no way be able to compose this message, and even more so to choose the right icon for it. He may accidentally go to my Instagram, take a picture by clicking on the camera icon, or something else simple, but not that.

There was no one else in the house except us. My husband was in another city, and my phone was definitely turned off when I left the room. Without me, my son will not turn it on on his own, I do this on purpose so that he does not play too much with him.

When my husband returned home, I told him everything and we tried to find a rational answer to what had happened. But they did not find it. We had no choice but to believe in the existence of a ghost."

In the comments to this post, users advised the author to consecrate the house from evil spirits and place CCTV cameras there. But the author of the post replied that from the very beginning there were cameras in the child's room and nothing strange could be seen on them, even when he was talking to someone.
