15-year-old stallion Alfie from Gloustenshire has a gorgeous 7-inch (18 centimeters) long golden mustache. Apparently he is the most mustachioed horse in all the British Isles. And maybe all over the world

The vegetation on its face, according to the owners, has begun to grow rapidly in the past five years. Alfie really hates when they touch his mustache with their hands or when they want to comb or trim it. Some horse breeds grow mustaches, but the owners do not allow them to come in such a neglected look, as Alfie's, and he does not allow anyone with scissors in his hands.

The keeper of the horse, 20-year-old Haley Coxtit, assures that Alfie is an incredibly stubborn animal and is truly proud of his mustache. He has character.

-When I first saw him, it was rather strange to see his mustache. But he doesn't allow anything to be done with them. You have to be just a crazy daredevil if you want to go up to him and touch his mustache. And at the same time he is very vulnerable and easy to scare him, but he works great as a horse for horseback riding. I've heard of horses with mustaches, but I think my Alfie has the longest mustache a horse could grow.

Horses have hairs above the upper lip to help them determine the state of food, their freshness and consistency, but only Friesian horses grow really thick whiskers.
