When there weren't even dinosaurs on Earth, technology was already moving on it. This is evidenced by the results of analyzes of an unusual find made by Russian researchers.
And the object of the sensation was the most ordinary … stone!

I am describing it in such detail because later I was often asked if I was sure that the stone was really found, and not planted by some pranksters, forgers … Excluded. Until the last moment, the search area was a secret for almost everyone. I announced the exact field we will be combing just the day before, so they could not throw anything in advance …
So … Kuleshova brushed away the dirt stuck to the stone and almost immediately saw SOMETHING.
Directly on the cleavage of the layered flint stone was clearly visible somehow got inside … an ordinary bolt about a centimeter long! How did he end up in stone? Fell off a tractor? Lost by a drunk mechanic, and then somehow trampled, crushed into the breed? But even a layman could see with the naked eye that a bolt with a nut at the end (or, as this thing also looked like, a coil with a rod and two discs) was sitting tight. This means that he got inside the stone back in the days when it was just a sedimentary rock, bottom clay.
I fell off the boat! Nonsense - who then needed to drag him from the bottom of a river or lake here, to an abandoned collective farm field in the south-west of the Kaluga region? And - the main thing! - as our specialist geologist authoritatively said, this stone cannot be younger than 15-20 million years! So?..
Since then, the stone (and I with it) have consistently visited the paleontological, zoological, physical-technical, aviation-technological institutes, in the paleontological and biological museums, in the laboratories of KB Salyut, ZiKha, Geokhi, Geologorazvedka, MAI, Moscow State University, as well as several dozen more specialists in various areas of buildings.

What did you find out?
Paleontologists have removed all questions regarding the age of the stone. He really was not "younger than 15-20 million years old." More precisely, he was much older - 300-320 million years old!
Then it was firmly established that the "bolt" got into the rock exactly BEFORE ITS HARDENING, and, therefore, its age is in no way less, if not more, than the age of the stone. The bolt could not hit the stone later (for example, as a result of an explosion, including a nuclear one), because the structure of the stone was not disturbed by it. Yes, and he himself is not deformed accordingly, which will be confirmed by all experts in explosives who will consider the attached photographs.
By the way, the X-rays clearly showed that there are other “bolts” INSIDE the stone, now hidden from view. The currently visible sample was also once inside, until the rock, relatively recently on a geological time scale, cracked just along the dissemination - as a stress concentrator.
That is all that has been firmly established so far.
Well, then - darkness …
As it turned out, there was and is not a specialist in such finds. As there is no general opinion regarding the origin of our "bolt". Or, to be more precise, there are supporters of two opinions.
The first ones are sure that they are dealing with a clearly man-made product, in which all dimensional standards known and applied by our modern technologists are observed. In all the technical institutes, there was not a single specialist who doubted that in front of him was an artificial product that somehow got inside the stone.
However, at first everyone had doubts, but they quickly disappeared after microscopic and X-ray studies. Moreover, in addition to the "bolt" and next to it, the skeptics themselves discovered several more technogenic formations, including two strange microscopic balls with square holes.
The second group argued that the "bolt" was nothing more than an ancient fossil animal. Some even called the most similar analogue - the crinoidea - the sea lily. But … only here an expert specifically on these very crinoids, after examination, said that he had never seen SUCH LARGE and just such a form of crinoids.
Maybe we are dealing with a giant mutant crinoid? Were there giant dragonflies? Yes, but then this "crinoidea" was made of iron! For a scrupulous chemical analysis showed that although over the past time the atoms of iron Fe diffused, that is, passed into the stone, and in their place were the atoms of silicon Si that came from the stone, the traces of the metal did not disappear. The iron atoms moved from their original place no more than one and a half centimeters, as a result of which an oval ferruginous "cocoon" was formed around the "bolt", and is now perfectly visible to the naked eye. For paleontologists, this phenomenon is the most common in their practice: they know that everything inside a stone for millions of years sooner or later becomes stone. Our "bolt" has become the same stone. But the iron also did not evaporate anywhere.
So, a "product" or "animal" from a metal alloy more than 300 million years ago (when dinosaurs had not yet conquered the planet) accidentally fell to the bottom of the ancient ocean and after several million years it was firmly soldered into petrified sedimentary rock. But the main question remained: who, after all, “littered” with metal objects on the Earth of the Devonian or Carboniferous period of the Paleozoic era?
It is difficult to determine the most reliable hypotheses, more precisely, it is not yet possible. But there are several main groups of versions:
1) UFO - the most simple to understand. If UFOs fly anywhere in our time, why shouldn't they appear on Earth even a thousand, even a million years ago? Even a billion years ago, many civilizations could already exist in the Universe that could fly to Earth and litter here. Arrange, as the Strugatskys wrote, a roadside picnic!
2) VERSION OF SPACE GARBAGE - the most "science-intensive" hypothesis. In order to "litter" the Earth with man-made debris, it was not at all necessary to fly to us. For other civilizations, it was enough just to go into space, and then the stellar wind, inertial motion for millions of years will spread bolts and nuts from the spent parts of rockets across the galaxy.
