The hexagonal pyramid is the name of the object located on the Moon, its "discoverer" - a virtual archaeologist working under the nickname Mundo Desconocido. The "pyramid" was found in an archive image, which is stored on the website of the University of Arizona (The University of Arizona), along with a host of other images taken by robotic stations of the Lunar Orbiter series. Its catalog number is lo3-143-h3a.

In total, the Americans sent 5 "orbiters", which filmed the surface of the moon - including in order to select the landing site for the ship of the first manned expedition "Apollo 11".

NASA did not pay any attention to the hexagon then. And now they do not pay. But Mundo Desconocido was surprised. According to him, the "pyramid" is stepped - at least three-story. It was built, of course, by aliens. Who else? After all, a natural formation - some kind of rock or even a crater - cannot by themselves take the shape of a regular hexagon.
The object was filmed from a height of 49 kilometers. Its edge is more than a kilometer.

Conclusion: the natural process of the formation of hexagons is mysterious. But nature somehow creates them. I created it on Saturn, so it could also on the Moon.
