An unprecedented incident occurred recently in Lorica, Columbia. The parents of the newborn baby declared that their baby was "possessed by the devil." This is reported by the British edition of The Daily Mail.
According to the boy's 28-year-old mother Ana Feria Santos, the child allegedly began to walk at the age of one month and is capable of expelling hellfire. The young woman is absolutely sure of this. The neighbors' reaction was inadequate: they threw stones at their house. Panic and aggression, this is what an innocent kid brought to the calm and measured life of a small American town.
However, the doctors who examined the child claim that the burns on his body have nothing to do with the "devilish origin". Experts are convinced that this is a consequence of parental abuse.
Ana Feria Santos, the boy's mother, told the Colombian radio station RCN that a baby was born about a month ago, however, the woman did not receive much joy from motherhood. According to Ana, very quickly, the happiness from the realization of motherhood turned into fear and horror. The woman drew attention to some of the "anomalies" that the child has, as a result of which the mother came to the conclusion that her child is a devil who came to earth.
According to the young woman, it is alarming that when the child was exactly one month old, he allegedly learned to stand and even walk. She claims that the newborn behaves as usually portrayed in films of those who are possessed by evil spirits. The boy seems to be wandering around the house from room to room, giggling strangely and staring intently, which frightens the household very much.
It is especially striking that the baby stands on his feet as confidently as an adult, walks and even runs around the house, as if he is not several months old, but much older, the boy often hides in different places - under the bed, in closets, even climbs into the washing machine or refrigerator.
Relevant social services, as well as the Colombian police, after examining the baby, came to the conclusion that the boy really had spots in the form of small burns on his palms. However, law enforcement officials are convinced that the origin of the injuries is solely the fault of the father and mother, and there is no smell of any "unclean" spirit here.
The parents received an official warning and the state police began a thorough investigation of the incident. If the guilt of the woman and her spouse is proven, the couple face serious punishment up to a prison sentence.
