A mystical story full of unsolved mysteries took place over a hundred years ago in Italy. Until today, people tell a strange story about the disappearance of a passenger train in 1911. A ghost train or a phantom train - that's how it was called.
The most ordinary train with 106 passengers left on schedule from the Roma train station. Having entered the tunnel, the train did not leave it. Before the disappearance, four people, as if feeling trouble, got off the train. It was they who told that before the train disappeared, it was enveloped in a thick gray fog.
The train disappeared, and the search yielded no results. The police carefully examined the tunnel in Lombardy, but found nothing unusual there. The war broke out and the bombers completely destroyed the tunnel. Like a tunnel, I wanted to keep everything a secret forever.
The most mystical things began to happen after a while. Relatives of the missing passengers found a rather curious record in the archives. In Mexico City, 102 people appeared in 1845, all of them claiming to have come from Italy. The point is clear, all of them were sent to a psychiatric hospital. What normal person would believe that a train crossed the Atlantic Ocean and arrived in the capital of Mexico, and even from the future?
No one knows what happened next with the passengers and the ghost train, but there were archival records of the hospital doctors that strange people were dressed in clothes that were incomprehensible and out of fashion. The passengers' belongings also remained, for example a cigarette case, which marked the year 1909.
Nobody knows where the train went and what happened to it, but since then, at different times, it began to appear in different parts of the Earth. At the same time, without exception, all witnesses describe it in the same way: five cars and closed windows. And he always appears suddenly from a thick gray fog, he disappears just as suddenly. Where and when the train will appear next time, no one knows.
In 1954, the train was seen by a lineman in the Crimea. The train quietly followed in the location of the old embankment and not even along the rails. In 1995, a ghost train unexpectedly appeared at the Polovina station in the Irkutsk region at 10:50 pm. Several people became witnesses who looked at the inscriptions in Latin letters on the old cars.
