On October 3, European equipment recorded a radioactive cloud that is now flying over Russia. First, scientists in Italy sounded the alarm, who noted that the cloud consists of the isotope of ruthenium-106.
The experts reported in their report that the radiation is gradually dissipating. A special radiation activity is now traced on the Russian-Kazakh border.
Specialist Jean-Christophe Gariel announced the security of the cloud. As it turned out later, the level of radiation is so low that it cannot cause any harm to living organisms. However, a certain influence can be felt by citizens who are right in the epicenter of radioactive radiation. Such residents are not recommended to go outside.
According to scientists, the reason for the formation of the cloud lies in the production of isotopes for medical purposes, an accident at a nuclear power plant is excluded. Ruthenium-106 is not found in nature, so what happened is definitely a result of human activity.
According to Russian experts, no accidents have occurred in the region over the past few months, so the question of the emergence of a cloud remains open.
