During his visit to London, bus driver Craig Cooper was waiting for the train at Queensway tube station. It was about midnight when he felt someone standing behind him. The 23-year-old young man at first did not understand what was happening until he sent his girlfriend Nicole Lewis a photograph of where he was. A bald man appears in the center of the photo.

He now believes that the macabre figure was the ghost of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who used the now defunct Down Street station as a bunker during World War II.

Craig Cooper, a native of Cairfilly, South Wales, was very frightened and said that the ghost made him feel "panic and intensely agitated."

“It looked like someone who was standing behind me was following me all the time, no matter where I went. So I leaned against the wall,”Cooper said. “I was really scared, but I tried not to think too much about it until I returned to my hotel room. There I looked at the photograph I took in the subway."

Cooper said that at first his girlfriend noticed a strange white glow in the photo, resembling a figure with hands and a face.

“I was very nervous. If I saw this while I was on the subway, I would immediately run up the steps to the exit,”added Craig. "I believe in such things, but I've never seen anything like it."

Cooper showed the photo to the ghostbusters and many of them agree with him. “Since then, I've heard many stories of people who saw Churchill's ghost down there,” said the bus driver. - I showed the photo to many psychics, they told me the same thing. Some of them thought it was a reflection, but most of them think it is really a ghost."

“It could not have been a reflection, since one can see dropped hands on the sides of the figure. If it were my reflection, my hands would not be below. And there was nobody else there,”Cooper said. For the remaining days of the week in London, he did not take the underground and instead took a taxi.

“Friends laughed at me and called me daredevil Mickey, but to be honest, I felt terrible then,” the young man added.
